I am wondering if anyone can give me some information on how well they do with being an Amazon Turk, or is there folder on them here? I have been looking over the Amazon Turk webpages but they do not really give you that much detail about when you can get paid or really how to do it. Could anyone that does do it give me some guidance on it?

You get paid by the companies that you do the work for. It goes into your MTurk bank, so to speak. You can withdraw or use it anytime you want.
You can get paid from the companies anywhere from the same day the work is done to several days later.

I looked into doing some work with them but then found out that unless you are American, you get paid through only with an Amazon card and not cash. Only Americans get cash and either through check or paypal.
It would be nice if there was something like this for other countries.

Clickworker looks to be a similar set-up. Pays in Euros - Paypal or bank deposit (with complying SEPA bank account). They hire globally.
As a clickworker at clickworker.com you work independently and completely according to your own schedule.
* There are no hidden costs or fees
* All you need is a computer with an internet connection
* No formal qualifications are necessary
* You receive payment once you’ve earned 10 Euros, your balance never expires.

According to this blog, Clickworker is a sham. Most of the jobs are apparently in German.

I got the link off Sharon's site, Your Way to Work at Home (http://toginet.com/shows/yourwaytoworkathome). I can't see anywhere where it says it's a sham (in the link you provided). Sharon interviewed the COO and addressed concerns that others had. If she's satisfied with the result, I'll trust her judgment.
Here's a link to her podcast with the COO, it's the 9th one on the list...

You have to read the actual comments on the blog that were written by people who signed up with Clickworker. None of the people who commented said they were getting paid. Clickworker claims they have a lot of jobs and that you can make as much at $9.50 an hour. The comments were that most of the jobs are in German. People may work three jobs and then there is nothing else in the queue to choose from that is in English. They may be making $1.05 in an hour.
I did not listen to the podcast because I felt of course the COO is going to paint a pretty picture. I did not trust to receive an honest review from that. But I do believe people who have already tried it and felt it was not legit.
Sorry, but I was burned very badly by a scam about five years ago and I am very, very cynical about some of these opportunites.

there are some "employers" on mturk who will scam you.they will put a "job" on there that says something like "as proof tell me the numbers with the stars near it" or something like that and they won't pay you or they will say someting like " tell me what confirmation number you see on the third page" knowing that there was only one page to submit, and you won't get paid.so proceed with caution. i would stay away from some of the higher paying tasks.once your time runs out you will not get paid.even if you finish the task and contact the "employer" and submit your proof that way.you won't hear from them and you will not get paid. i submitted $47 dollars worth of nonpaid tasks before i learned my lesson.
