I know we all love what we do, CBBB has improved many of our lives and we want to share the excitement with everyone we come in contact with, but, with that said it seems that many of the reps are becoming (for lack of a better word) preditors. I have watched so many posts lately where one person has replied or pm'd and another bunny will do the same. Honestly, I can say that it seems to undermine the reputation that we have worked to achieve. We are a friendly family, but when it is publically displayed it seems to cheapen our image.
I don't think that Nancy Bogart meant to have reps campagning against others on who is the best sponser to have and who isn't. I personally have Andi as a sponser. She and I are a great match, she has given me what I need as a rep, both in moral and in sales tools. I do not know the other sponsers, I'm sure they are just as knowledgable as my sponser is. Point being, it seems to be a little childish to run a "popularity" campaign on the boards.
Perhaps, some reps do get seem to answer more quickly, and therefore get more sign ups, IMHO not the reps fault. It's a matterof being organized and in the right time at the right place.
This isn't the first time it has been addressed, it seems it needed to be reminded what we are here for.

You know I used to think whoever replied first to a post should be the sole person who talks to the interested person about being a rep.
But the more I have thought about it...I think it is okay for several of us to PM or post to someone...especially like iliv4kids who SAID she wants to consultant shop.
And then the person who wants to sign up will have a choice of the rep who she clicks with the best, and maybe it will be the first responder and maybe not.
A preditor isn't somebody who replies to posts--be it the first reply or the last. The preditors I have seen are ones who publicly correct other reps and try to make the others look bad so people will sign with them. Now *that* is unethical.

I whole heartedly agree with Tammy. Potential Reps that are looking for a sponsor need to know the different people they have a "CHOICE" to sign under. It is not all about who replies first. If I had time to be on the board all day and wait for a potential signer then hey I would get them all too.
New reps need to click with who they sign under. Its not a matter of stealing, or being a preditor, its giving them the right to choose with out any boundaries.
I could hand out info all day long and then have a rep decide to go with someone else ... does that make me a failure on recruiting ... NO .. there just wasn't a connection that she felt strong enough with me yet found it with someone else.

This is a tough one for me. With White Lily, we respect each other (not that the CB reps don't), and we do not bombard a person who asks for info, knowing that someone already sent them info. BUT if a person is "consultant" shopping, this is a whole other thing. On that note, I do believe the person who is consultant shopping should check out the consultant locater on the site and look for a local rep in their area instead of bidding us against each other. This is a tough one for sure.

Points well spoken.
I know that people consultant shop. I have been one of the consultants interviewed before. Did I get the "job?" Not always, but that is okay.
I personally do not see a problem with more than one person answering the questions. Especially when someone else did not know the answer or answered incorrectly.

I am just now getting to the board andI feel like the topic of conversation here, not sure if that is good or bad.
I asked to be contacted by more than one rep. It puzzles me that someone would need to remind anyone, not to do that. I want to find a personality that fits me and what I am looking for. I think this post has helped a ton. I do not want to be looked at as "just another possible rep" but a person.Edited by: iliv4kidz

I should clarify, and apologize to you iliv4. I agree wholeheartedly that one should shop for the best fit in a sponser. The post I made was not directed necessarily at your postings specifically. I believe you are very wise to take your time, and find someone who you feel comfortable with. I hope that you become part of the CBBB family and have the best of success. It truely is a wonderful company & the products are the best!
Like I said prior, I believe that we all know what the underlying factors are. This has been brought to the attention of everyone way before I made my post.
I was just trying to get across that we all love CBBB, it seems like it would be much more beneficial to work as a TEAM, than to be so individual. Granted, the point of a business is to be individual and get a build a downline eventually, but, I would rather be able to come to the boards, see a post and see other reps post & pm about the company & the benefits of the company rather than the benefits of one sponsor over the other. In the end, it really comes down to sharing the benefits of the company. When we get more people excited about CBBB, the more it will comeback tenfold.
Have a great day everyonesmileys/smiley4.gif

When I was "rep" shopping the fact that different people answered my questions, did not cheapen the image of our company at all. I liked it that many different people answered my questions, I dont think that it was in any way "childish" that people were answering my questions.
And also, like you said, most of us know the underlying issues here, and I personally think that just because one person answers first, should not mean the "interviewer" should have to go with them.
Your right, there are people that are in the right place at the right time, but it's all the time.
I dont mean to sound harsh in any way, but I think that I have a little bit to do with this post being brought up.
The fact that I had different people helping me, helped me make my decision to join CBBB and the person that I chose to go with, was obviously the best candidate for me.
Best Wishes, Sheila

I don't see anyone here on a popularity campaign. I think Tammy was being respectful of me since I had posted to the thread prior to her, so instead she gave reasons why I would make a good sponsor. What's the harm in that? I would've done the same for her had she posted before me. Its called being supportive of your team members. You also just did the same thing in your post by talking about the qualities you liked in your sponsor.
I honestly don't know what you mean by "the underlying issues," so I don't think that is something you should assume everybunny knows.
I also think iliv4kidz is obviously an intelligent woman by asking so many questions, and I don't think its nice to belittle her intelligence by assuming she will choose a sponsor based soley on what you deem as a popularity contest.
I also used to let interested persons pass me by without a peep because I always respected the first person who replied, by not replying at all. Now I realize that people rep. shop and its OK for me to reply...and to not take it personal if they don't choose me.
Let people make their own decisions and if they only want to talk with one rep., I'm sure they will be adult enough to let us know.

I posted this in the other thread but I have decided to go with a person in my area.
