* if you're interested in team building, many folks will be looking for some flexible, part-time work as soon as kids get back into their school schedule!

So no matter which business (or businesses) you are thinking about - finish up your research, make your choice and dive in - IT'S GO TIME!!!

Lois is so right. A lot of companies are just now debuting their new products for Fall/Winter. It's a great party season coming up!! I am taking advantage of a summer/August sign up myself and making a quick switch over to a new company. Nothing at all wrong with the one I was with, but I was looking for one with a better hostess plan and customer specials. Everyone loves a bargain these days and who doesn't want to offer their hostess tons of free stuff!! Not to mention it is Trip Incentive Season!! :D

Find a product you love, research the companies and jump in! Direct Sales are really fun!

Plus, with any company, you are ramping into the holiday season!

So true! All these great things are coming together at once. Our new catalog starts in September, which means new products to share. The new incentive trip was recently announced for a family trip to Walt Disney World staying at one of the Disney Deluxe Resorts. Nice!

Our new book is out, and this month is a great one, as you can order from both!

All great points in the original post, but I particularly like these two bullets. We're heading into the time of the year where people will be buying, buying, buying! It's the perfect time to join a company and start your business.

So very true! Many companies offer great things for gifts! And by hosting, they can earn some of the items for free, which helps the budget!

I agree with all of you. I started this time last year, and it was a great way to kick off my business! New catalog, lots of excitement, and lots of holiday shoppers at parties helped boost my sales!

Now Just Jewelry is also implementing personal websites for consultants this month, so there's another reason it's an amazing time to start now!

So true--I am so looking forward to a great fall. New Catalogs spike interest for everyone. As new consultants for any Company this is the best time to "jumpstart" their business.

For so many reasons, it's a great time to start (many mentioned above):

Fall Catalogs
Holiday Shopping starting
No more Summer vacation excuses
People are more 'home' oriented than in the summer
Back to School - moms can always use a way to add to income for clothes,books,etc

I totally agree with all of you. I also feel that many people are spending more time online and at home rather than going to stores. If we can get our products out there in front of people and online by using Blogs and Facebook, I think sales in some of our "Party Plan" businesses will do well. I plan to make use of a Blog to highlight various products each day and use lots of photos showing uses for that product with links to my sales sites. Then I'll have another site to help my recruits do the same.

I am very excited about the Fall selling season and my two companies have the best products, that will fit right in with my online marketing ideas.

I agree!!! All of the companies have such fantastic incentives right now --- I am having sooooo much fun with my business and my team is so excited too - This is going to be an incredible fall!!!

SOOOO true! August is a GREAT month to get into a new company, train over the next couple of weeks and HIT THE GROUND RUNNING for the busiest season of the entire year.

Today marks my 3rd anniversary with Gold Canyon! Happy Anniversary to me! This was an awesome time to start, right at or before the busy fall & holiday selling season. I was able to earn all three Quick Start levels with no problem and earn hundreds of dollars in additional free product! Gold Canyon offers so many amazing incentives. What a great biz!

Since the kiddies are back in school, alot of moms will have a little more flexibilty. I am looking to increase bookings before the holidays come!
