Hi everyone!

Sorry if this has been asked before, my search doesn't work.

I am having a few people do catalogue parties for me and I'm curious about what kind of incentives you all give for this?

I had one person who sold $30 worth of products and I gave her a votive, but another person sold $150 of jars and I've already given her a votive, but definitely want to give her more when my shipment comes, but I don't want to get carried away giving candles away.

So anyways, I'm just wondering what you all do.

Thanks!

Hey Olivia!

I don't typically do parties, but here are the suggestions I offer to my
team:

Offer your hostess incentives that keep your jar orders in even dozens.
For example:

For every 10 jar candles ordered, one jar at 1/2 price and one jar FREE.

I offer guests a free votive that I have in stock (so they can take it home
that day) for every $25 worth of product they order. You'd be amazed
how much more people will order for that extra votive that they can take
home right away.

I also offer the hostess 15% credit on the subtotal of all non-candle
orders (so bath products, simmer pots, wickmasters, etc.) to use toward
her order.

In addition to these incentives, booking rewards- 3pack sampler of
votives for the hostess for each party booked at her show and coupons
for the hostess to use at the party of anyone who books at her party.
(buy 1 jar, get 1 jar 1/2 off, buy a summer pot, get a bag of melts 1/2 off,
etc.)

LASTLY, I always suggest to give your hostess a coupon for $15 off COTM
membership- $5 her first 3 consecutive months. That way, you
encourage her to sign up and she will stay enrolled and give the biz a
serious try for 3 months.

Hope these are helpful!

I just give a flat 15% of sales for them to put towards product, or if it's just about 6 or 7 jars, I give them one jar free.

Olivia, I dont typically do parties either but in the event that I might, I came up with this hostess program. It might seem like alot, but I like to keep my hostess' happy, and for those that have been in direct sales with party plans know that a happy hostess is good for business. hth.

Retail Sales Hostess Rewards<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
$0 - $300 10 % of sales

$300 - $500 10 % of sales, 1 item ½ off

$501 - $750 15 % of sales, 1 item ½ off

$750 - $1000 15 % of sales, 2 items ½ off

$1000 + 20 % of sales, 3 items ½ off
