so i've been trying to pass this test thing for some time now. i keep getting 80s . i don't understand what i am getting scored against because at the end of the first two steps (letters only and dollars only) i had a 99 then after step 3 (numbers only) it went to like 81?
anyway, so i just found out that they don't even have that much work? like making just a buck or 2 here and there? i know it adds up but i already have a few eggs like that so im really looking for something more "primary" i guess you can say.
is this test even worth taking over and over compared to the amount of work/pay you get once hired on??

There has been plenty of work. I have read the boards and don't understand why people are having trouble finding it. My account gets zeroed on Saturday nights. I have already made over 100 dollars this week, which I consistently do.
A person would have to be at top speed with perfect snippets to make 4 bucks an hour.
I personally wouldn't be keying at the rate they hire new contractors at.
Keyforcash has been very good for me. But everyone has to decide for themselves what they are willing to work for.

I started keying this week and as soon as I get enough $$ in my account, I'm going to get my check and stop doing this. For me, it's taken MANY, MANY hours to get to only $17, so far!! I type around 65 WPM and can 10-key fairly fast, so I'm not sure how anyone could count on this for any kind of income. I also have a very high accuracy rate, according to the many typing tests I've taken. 72pony, you must be making a much higher rate than me. $4/hr would be great compared to what I've gotten so far.
I have had hardly any time-periods where I didn't have plenty of work, so far. The times I've clicked on a keying job and it just goes back to the home screen are a bit frustrating, though.

I'm with you on that one! I type over 80 wpm, and work transcription. I signed up for KFC for a bit of a change of pace, but I'm sitting at just over $10 in my account for about 6 to 7 hours worth of work. Not worth it to me at all. Not when my main transcription contract makes me an average of $20 an hour for average audio!
