I was wondering if any of you had a chat program (yahoo, aim, msn, etc) that you use? I was thinking that maybe we would be able to put each other on our contact lists, and (I'm not sure about programs other than yahoo) we could even do a chat room to discuss BC, or life in general.

If anyone would like to add me, on yahoo I am Mistie1005

Nice idea Mistie! I have a yahoo account, but it isn't set up on my laptop, which is what I use in the office. When I get it, I'm mager342.

I will see about setting that up soon,
Angela

I'm not sure if I have IM w/ yahoo...I think only w/ MSN. But I think I can get it, I'm registered w/ yahoo.

This is a great idea! I don't know how much our conference calls are, but this would be a more cost effective approach, right? I haven't been fortunate enough to catch a conference call yet, but do you think this could work as good as one?

Hi Kimberlee, I think that Vickie has the call set up for free. I think the chatting could be nice to get to know each other, and to ask a question of someone real time who is signed in.

This is such a nice friendly group! I am happy to add you guys to my friends on chat. Right now its just my husband and father in law.smileys/smiley36.gif

The only thing about the chat rooms it is easy to get off topic and behind in the conversations. The call at least gives us a chance to add something when we get an in to do so!

The conference number is not costing me anything and all you pay is your local long distance. We have unlimited long distance for a reason! LOL

I still like the idea of chatting when we are free. Especially for those who can't make the call. They can get caught up on the topic and we can talk about anything we want!

I wasn't suggesting that the yahoo chat take the place of the board conference calls! I just thought it would be nice to chit-chat in real time with you girls, either one on one or in a group setting, about anything under the sun! smileys/smiley1.gif

I didn't think that is what you were trying to do! Sorry if I gave you that impression!

I think it is a great idea and maybe more people could join in.
