I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I didn't know where else to put this.
Anyways, I do some work from home to supplement my income. I am an employee with the company, but they are based in another state. They pay the minimum wage, but by law are they required to pay minimum wage rates according to their state laws or are they required to pay rates from the state that I reside in?
I would appreciate any information.

I can't find anything official but I'm pretty sure it's based on the state the office, not the worker, is based

It is the state they are based in. I live on the IL/WI border, but live in IL. If I were to go 20 minutes north to find work at brick and mortar employment, I could not expect them to pay me differently than their other staff. It is based on the state the company is physically located in.
