I was apprached to donate items for a charity benefit silent auction and another "auction" at a local health club.

What items have you donated in the past? I was thinking of putting 1-2 items together with a BC gift certificate so if they call to use the gift certificate, I could get them to book a spa....

What are your thoughts or experiences?

Thanks!smileys/smiley4.gif

I will send you a picture of the basket I just donated for a silent auction at Julia's school. I can't get it on here. Maybe someone could help me with that for the future!

I've done several donations, a margarita set for relay for life last year, I picked up a basket at the Dollar store and put the margarita stuff in plus an certificate for a margarita spa. I did save your sole in one of the blow up foot tubs from BC and added of course a certificate for a "save your sole" spa.............. No one ever booked a spa, but I did get a reorder on the margarita stuff fromthe winner. It was all for a good cause smileys/smiley17.gif

Jo,

I love that idea for the save your sole set in the inflatable foot tub! So creative!

I have to come up with some donations for a pre-Mother's day expo and not sure how much value I want the donations to be. Half-off in April is going to help alot!

They should be coming out with a Mother's Day brochure in April. They had one last year. It had sets of Brown Sugar, Margarita, etc.

I will have to send you a picture of the spa mineral set I did for a client's Mom. She loved it!

Baskets are so much fun to make! Unfortunately, no one took a picture of my bridal box I did. The bride used the box for her wedding momentos.
