Do any of you do work through the various 'competition' style sites that are becoming more popular?

These aren't sites like elance and ifreelance where you pay a membership fee to be able to submit designs.

I recently joined crowdSPRING but I haven't had a chance to do much with it yet.

I don't, I've tried some of the sites where you bid on projects but almost all of them want to pay pennies for work and I can't work for pennies.

I don't use these types of sites either because I can spend the time designing and not getting paid. Time is money. That's just me!
