I have been working from home on and off throughout the years, and I always had the flexibility of picking up whatever kind of work suited me during those times; 1099 or employee. Recently, things have changed in my household, and I need to find a WAH position that offers medical/dental benefits. The alternative is for hubby and I to purchase them privately which is VERY expensive, and an option I'd rather avoid.
Does anyone know of any companies that are currently offering WAH positions with benefits packages? I know there are companies out there, I just haven't come across anything as a result of my own research.
Thanks for the help!

yes, I've posted several here and on my blog, can't recall each and everyone,so you'll have to do a bit of digging. The one I recall is CSR w/Anthem Blue Cross, check further down on the thread, I posted in yesterday. I know there are several more, but don't have them off the top of my head. Good luck.

Ameriplan offers benefits to their brokers but it is a Home Business not job. You could however look into just the benefit packages if you weren't interested in working the business. www.MyBenefitsPlus.com/ (http://www.MyBenefitsPlus.com/ChristinaDennis) [link edited by mod, please read and follow forum rules.]is the site with all the plans and info on them. Hope that helps as I know how expensive it is when you try to do a family plan outside of a job, been there done that :-(.
Good Luck :-)

I believe Convergys.com has benefits for it's employees.

The thing with AmeriPlan is, it is really a health savings/discount plan and not insurance benefits. I think the OP is looking for actual medical insurance benefits. Yes, private insurance sure can cost an arm and a leg! I think (but not positive) that UHAUL offers benefits to their work at home employees. Good luck on finding something! :)

Most companies hire people as independent contractors for work at home positions, at least to start. Bigger companies like Uhaul and Jet Blue may offer benefits to start, but I'm not sure if either is hiring at the moment.
