Is it becoming a common trend for many direct sales companies to create
programs that keep the majority of their consultants in a holding pattern?

Are you working for little more than nothing?

Are you jumping through too many hoops to earn a paycheck?

To keep your title??

Are there Better Options available for Moms who want to work from
home? What should you look for in a compensation plan?

Check out Memoirs of a Candle Goddess and read my latest
Blog Entry to learn more.

er... nope! I wouldn't say that at all. In fact, I have been amazed at the ease with which I now earn money. Back when I had a J.O.B. ("Just Over Broke") outside the home, I jumped through countless hoops to climb the ladder in Corporate America. But now that I own my own business, I have time for my family, freedom to set my own schedule, AND I'm bringing in money for my family. smileys/smiley1.gif As they say, it's not about working harder... it's about working SMARTER!

Blessings,

Christy

Best of luck to you!

Oh, NO! It's not my situation at all, Lisa!

And I'm glad to hear that both of you are diong well with your
businesses- I am happily thriving also. But recently I've come across an
influx of women who have shared their woes about struggles with their
compensation plans. All party plans are certainly NOT created equal!

My blog entry is more of a guide for what to look for when researching
home business opportunities for women who want to build a business on
which they can someday retire, as opposed to a hobby or supplemental
income.

Here's to your Success and much more to come!

I am totally not in that situation. LOL Although I'm really not making anything yet (we don't process parties until May), I have found my experiences with DS is exactly what I make of it.

I know there are some companies that nickle and dime their consultants until there is no profit left, but I have seen a change in the way new companies approach business and they know that they have to keep us happy with the company and our checks because there is just too much competition for good DS people.

I don't have a blog, but I can invite anyone to my site www.brenda.tohe.com to learn about our comp plan. smileys/smiley4.gif

I think what causes the opression is that people looking for a biz do not RESEARCH the company well enough and sign on a whim!

New wahms.... Please research... ask a 100 questions and then ask some more!

Hi PP WAHMs!

I think go with what fits for you, just be careful not to be blinded sometimes by hype, not reality.

If you join something to be a hobby, then enjoy it as a hobby.

But if you are looking for serious financial freedom, make sure it's something that doesn't DEMAND too much of YOUR TIME and YOUR FINANCES and you actually do have the ability to create a serious residual income=Personal and Financial Freedom.

Have FUN and Enjoy Your Prosperity!

I would say I don't have that problem with my company. I researched my company for over a year before deciding to go with them.
