I have been wanting to get into web design for a couple of years now. I enjoy my current job but web design seems to have the opportunity to really get creative and be my own boss. I have some technical knowledge but no where near the skillset needed to be a full fledged web designer.
Is IWA (aka International Web Designers Association) worth the $50 membership fee? IWA - International Webmasters Association (http://www.iwanet.org) is their website. They offer classes at very reasonable prices.
Has anyone taken any of their classes? Do they seem worth the money? I realize that you can get out of a class as much as you put in so I'm really tempted to do this.
Just wanted to see what others thought about it.
Thank you,
Sarah
