I just wanted to post this report about the company Products Re-Branding (Products Re-branding Inc. : Welcome (http://www.productsrebranding.com)).

They are advertising work from home jobs on several employment boards for "Marketing Research Analysts" "Accounting Assistants" and "Customer Service Representatives."

The company appears to be very legitimate. So, I went through with the "employment" process and this is what happened, so don't get scammed...I just posted this report on Ripoffreport.com:

The company Products Re-Branding is advertising on employment/jobs websites for "Marketing Researchers" and "Customer Service agents" and "Accounting Assistants.". When you apply for the job normally, they send you an email stating that "you would be a good fit for the Marketing Research Analyst" position. The red flag came up for me when they said that the position "requires no experience" and "we will give you no training". They said that they will "give you detailed instructions on your first assignment." Their website (Products Re-branding Inc. : Welcome (http://www.productsrebranding.com)) appears to be totally legitimate, but when you call the number listed on the website, it rings busy. When you research the individuals named on the website who are the founders of the company (who have been recently removed from the website), there is no information on them.

As I went further into the hiring process, they sent a "fake" confidentiality agreement for me to sign and fax (which I did not sign) and then they said, "we will either Fedex or UPS your first assignment", which I found odd in the days of email.

When I persisted to find out more information about their company, case studies, etc. they then emailed the details of my first assignment. They said they are conducting a marketing research study of Money Gram. They would be sending me a check and that I am to deposit a portion of the check into my account and then send a portion of the check via Money Gram. I should then fill out a survey and send it to them about my marketing experience with Money Gram.

This is the oldest, money laundering scam ever. Don't get caught up in it because you will be prosecuted. After doing research on the registered domain name, I found out that the creators of this company are actually in Funchal, Madeira.

Don't get caught up in this scam!!!!!

Ah man. Unfortunately, someone is going to get caught in this scam. So sad.

This is one that I was looking into and thought that it sounded more like a scam so I wonder if it is the same people.

This is what the email said that they sent back to me when I asked for more information on the Accounts Receivable Position.

This is basically a virtual Job,You might work anytime of the day,but It would not take you up to 2 hours daily.All you Need to do is to receive payment from customers in Money Orders, its your duty to handle that and get it cashed. payments ranges from $500 to $2000 weekly depending on customer's order. The BBB takes reports on companies not registered with them as well.

New twist on an old scam.....they try to get more clever all the time as people figure them out.

Thanks for the heads-up! *Always remember to NEVER do any work for any one having to do with money over the internet. Unless you've been with a company for years and years and know them personally, they're not going to trust someone in cyberspace with their funds. You shouldn't trust them either!!

I applied to a job advertised on craigslist and got back this email. Basically the same thing it sounds like. Is this a scam too? Seems like one to me. I haven't emailed back. They don't have a website (red flag) and no address,and when I did a reverse phone number search it was unlisted to somewhere in Seattle.

response was highly considered by the Board before you were selected.

of software installed on the system to protect data, ease duty, also

that would be shipped to you are liable to be yours as ( Ownership )
after a period of 2 months of working with the Company.


We are not deducting funds from your payroll for Taxes, all Our
Online staffs are expected to complete their taxes forms after payroll
by themselves.

The Company is running the Online Recruiting as a temporary measure
towards the completion of our Centers around Chicago. So most of our

Basically before you get started, the company would be providing you
with funds to purchase some important software required for the duty
in question and then you will be receiving equipments from the
Company. Dell Laptop Pentium D Duo Processor , All in one Printer,
Scanner and Fax Machine with a wide range of software already
installed on the system.

TEST OF DUTY/TRUST

Test of duty/trust would involve you handling funds on behalf of the
company to purchase the needed software and also to handle the
shippment of your mini office equipment. The test of trust is your
first call to duty. This will be your first assignment before you
begin your training, You will be receiving a payment from the company
shortly and would be required to follow proper directions, Accurate
deduction and documentation is expected from you. This would be the
only payment you would be required to handle on your own.. all other
future payments would be forwarded by you to the company's accounting
details which would be made readily available to you upon your start.
