I don't quite know what to make of this report (http://www.courthousenews.com/2010/06/24/28330.htm), but the date on it doesn't appear to be April 1st?

I wouldn't have believed it...but it was reported in the El Reno Tribune (which coincidently I stayed the night in that town last Sunday night lol).

This story sounds a little more realistic, however I cannot wrap my mind around any situation where a taser should be used on an 86 year old anybody.

The poor women was pretty much torchured when she needed medical attention. How would an 86 year old women be able to harm multiple police that were in the room. Also stepping on her oxygen hose. I have been on oxygen before and you can not breath without it. I feel so bad for that lady.

I think it's pretty ridiculous and they need to train officers better so they show more discretion with tasers. It seems that these days, the solution to most problems is to use a taser.
