Hi all!
I was just wondering if your upline is constantly updating your system with paperwork? It seems like I have a ton of copies that keep getting slightly modified or changed completely, and then I have to recopy everything all over again (to give to prospects). Does this happen to any of you? I'm not complaining, just curious if this is the norm?

Yes, we just modified our approach to include the 45 Second Presentation by Jim Failla. At first it seemed a bit confusing, but then I realized that it's just fine tuning what we're already doing.
I'm glad that my upline is keeping tabs on what is or what is not working for individual consultants, and then adjusting accordingly. We've had several versions of flipcharts, training notebooks and training approaches added since I started in January, but I think it's cool that several NVPs under my upline, Cecilia Stoll, are all pitching in to add their 2 cents about what new stuff is working for their nations.
I've tried some of the newer approaches, notably the 45 Second Presentation, that are already working so well for other nations, and I really see a difference. I figure that this is such a flexible business that I need to learn how to flex with it as newer, better methods are introduced. The only thing I'm concerned about is that it's seeming to slightly overwhelm some of my newer team members, but lots of supportive calls and emails from me, and one-on-ones to explain how they can personalize the new methods seem to be assuaging those fears. I will say that my printer has been running hot trying to keep up!

Would you mind sharing some of your materials. Unfortunately, my NVP does not keep in contact with us.
Thanks,

Redundant2,
I am constantly reassuring my team that change is good, etc. however, it's constant change! Oh well! I wish my teammates were as willing to "go with it" like you and I are!!smileys/smiley36.gif
We are following the 45 second approach as well. It's a great tool for our business!Edited by: alldeckedout

Here you go, Darla and Faith:
www.soundconcepts.com (http://www.soundconcepts.com)
The book is "The 45 Second Presentation That Will Change Your Life." I just got it and started it, so perhaps someone else here who has been using it longer can share more about it.
I think someone else--SoonerGal maybe--mentioned in another thread to be sure and order it from the Sound Concepts website, as she got it from another online bookstore and that version had typos. It's a fast easy read so far.
Other materials--our NVP has put together a Business Builder Notebook with everything you could ever possibly want to know about all the approaches, qualifying, etc. It's really helpful!

Basically, you give the book to people who are interested in the biz. and it explains alot about our biz. (network marketing) it really clarifies the difference between direct sales and network marketing, too. It is about $6.00 a book, when you order in bulk. Barnesandnoble.com has it too.
redundant2............i would love to look at your BB notebook especially about qualifying,.....our upline has a find it on your own approach. But I still love them! smileys/smiley2.gif

faithmom-
That book is used with different approaches. It is definitely the anchor in the approaches because it explains the basic concept of creating a network of consumers rather than distributors.
You might do some searches in the forum, there is already a wealth of info on the different approaches & then ask some specific questions if you need clarification.
Some approaches or words you might want tosearch are:
Let's Go Shopping & or Get Paid to Shop- From whatI understand these are similar approaches. Both were created by NVP's & got approval from home office. I've made some posts explaining it as well as lots of other posters.
My Nation uses a similar approach to these but it has been broken downinto much smaller chuncksthat can be done over the phone easily. A RVP named Hannah Dugan took the approach & streamlined it basically. No name for it really. I'vealso made posts on this one.
The REsults approach
You could search 45 second & probably cover stuff pertaining tot he book.
Let us know if you have questions!
