Trying to decide which one to go with. What makes your company stand out over Mary Kay, Beauticontrol or Avon. Thanks.....Sylvia

Hi Sylvia-

I don't think we can really tell you much about those other companies or what makes us stand out over others. It really is going to depend on what you are looking for & what is important to you.

Have you tried products from all of the companies? It's so important to really be able to be excited & believe in your products. Do ingredients play a part? Some people are drawn to botanicals & some it doesn't make a difference what ingredients are used. Our products are water based & we used botanicals. We take the best of science & nature to formulate our products. Since they do not have a lot of fillers they are also very concentrated which makes them a great value.

Are you looking for a company that has a wide variety of products so you can offer various things to your clients? We have over 350 consumable products. People can switch all their personal care products over to ours & have one stop shopping.

Are you wanting to strictly retail products for the commissions or are you wanting a company that you can have long term residuals? The retail com you would make would be 35%. We do have various specials you can take advantage of to make it more sometimes. We do not have to keep inventory so no frontloading. The residual comp plan is very generous. (You can see it on our home website)There is no ceiling as to how much you can make. If you build a team then those people will not be taken away from you permanently if one happened to pass you.

Are you looking for a company that does the party system or more of a one on one approach? (We have either approaches) We have an approch that let's you build your business on the fly if you are one of those people who has a jam packed schedule then that approach would work for you. It all depends on what you like & want to do.

The best thing to do when you are trying to pick through several companies is to write down some questions, things that are important for you, then find out the answers to those specific questions. Decide what details are make or break for you on things. After you find out the specifics & have tried the products then compare the companies.

We don't know what things you really want to know aboutfrom your initial post but would be happy to answer any questions you have!

The products are what stand out for me! If I didn't love them, there is no way I could sell them. I would definetly try products from each company and narrow it down from there. Then, meet w/ the sponsor to see if you click and have the same ideas and goals. Once you know you love the products, then you can get into the compensation details.

Love of the product is a must! Also, if you are doing it for a long
term business and plan to build, definitely look at the compensation
plans for recruiting others. Look at minimum qualifications, and
maintanance requirements to get into management and to stay
there! Other things to consider are:

inventory requirements (if any)

minimum amounts for ordering and how often must they be placed

consultant discount on products

minimum requirements for being considered an active consultant

shipping (this can really get you if the company charges a lot for shipping for each order)

Cost of supplies (catalogs, samples etc)

cost of website and how orders are processed

does the company charge you for credit card customer orders

I am sure there are other things to check, but these would be important to me.

I have experienced each of these business' except Avon. I didn't have any negative experiences with any of them, but there are
definite differences.
