Hi everyone:

I am making a bunch of the small scent samples to staple to my business card and was just wondering if you guys label them with the scent name or not? I think it would be a good idea but very time consuming. Can you even get labels that small?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, I do. I use the return address size labels.

Yes, you should definately label with the scent! I use the return labels too and just print out on the computerat least 2 sheets per scent. It really doesnt take that long to peel it off and stick it on, but i think it is really needed.

I also put on there to usewith a pot pourri or melt burner. They dont know what to do with the powder otherwise and they may throw it away.

ok, now.....get stickin........... smileys/smiley36.gif

Thanks for your input. I do that with my larger samples (3"x4" bags) but I'm using 1.5"x1.5" bags for business cards so those labels are too large.

I use the 2x3 baggies which are about the same size as the biz card holds the return label well.

I would just go to office depot and find the next smaller size. They do have them smaller.

for the small scent sample, I use 1/2 x 1 3/4 mailing labels. 80 per sheet.

Barb, I use the same size small ziplocs you are talking about, and Sandra is right, the 1/2" x 1-3/4" labels are perfect for those. I am sure you can find them anywhere. They are considered comparable to the Avery 8167 labels, so if you use Word to create them; you can just bring up a template using that info and they will be done in a snap. I think it's good to let the potential customer know what the scent you are giving them is, so I would take a little time to put the labels on.

Have fun,

Barb, this is a bit more time consuming, but it worked for me the other day.

I had made a bunch of scent samples, and they were quite tiny. I didn't
have any labels that were small enough, so I just typed out the scent
in Word (I typed a few lines, then copied and pasted until I got enough
on the page.), cut them out, then taped them onto the samples with a
small strip of Scotch tape.

It's a bit of work, but looks nice, and saved me a special trip to town for labels.

Yes I order mine, and they look GREAT. go to www.roteck.com (http://www.roteck.com) i put my website and the scent and my email address. you cancreate them youself. Not expensive, but makes them look really nice. I put them right on the baggie and I use the small ones.

Wow - that Roteck is a neat site! Very nice looking labels on there.

But WHY oh why isn't Mia Bella mentioned as one of the companies??

Thanks everyone for your input. I will check for those other size labels. What I ended up doing since I didn't have time to run out was type the scent name only and printed it on larger labels and cut the name out. A bit time consuming but it worked in a pinch.

Thanks again.
