I have car magnets on my truck that say Mia Bella and all that good stuff! Well.....


This morning at tball practice for my son, as i was getting the kids in the car, a GUY came up to me and said "You sell candles? My wife loves candles! Do you have a brochure"? I gave him a brochure and 2 scent samples!


Again, I took the kids to the park tonight to run out some energy and a lady walked by and said...:Hey what is this? And proceeded to tell me her neighbor was having major soot problems on her walls and they were just talking about that the other day! So i gave her a scent sample and biz card and she said she loves candles and will be calling me!


So...moral of the story is........always be prepared with samples, brochures,etc and you never know when someone will be watching!!


Get your name out there! I would suggest car magnets! Talk about free advertising!

This is so very true. I have been out of packets for the last week or so and have not made anymore as of yet. Everytime I go out I have this sinking feel that someone is going to ask me about my wonderful business and I will have nothing to give them.smileys/smiley5.gif

I got the car magnets made online through a guy on ebay. The set was $24. Mine are pink and purple with a candle logo.


Check ebay. There are always companies doing custom graphics.

I bought the outside clings and I was disappointed because I had to take them off and clean daily (blame the salt and snow gook) and now they don't stick anymoresmileys/smiley19.gif. I haven't been able to convince hubby to let me put the vinyl ones on or magnets yet.

No, I had them made from a company on ebay. I have been very happy with them. for some reason i cant put the photo on here, but if you want to see it, send me your emial and i will send it to you.

Yes, trucks work great for tables and boxes, booths and events, plus it is big enough to do the carpool everyday, 4 doors. But, not great on gas so hubby has our car to drive to work everyday.


So if you see a man going hunting in a big truck with my candle biz info on it, it just may be my dh - lol

I really want to get magnets or a rear window sign for our new little car. My hubby is a home-care nurse and travels about a 100km daily around our city (which is why we are buying a "little" car since his travelling in the mini-van was killing us!)


I'm thinking a rear window sign for the car, and magnets for the mini-van. The van has tinted windows in the back so a window sign is out.


Can anyone post a link to the ebay ads they've had good luck with. There are so many and I don't know where to start. I've never bought anything from ebay before. smileys/smiley9.gif Plus, once I've read the ad and am ready to bid, I see they only ship to USA. That doesn't help us Canucks any. smileys/smiley5.gif
