For those of you who have a website, when you recieve an online
referral do you generally call them or email them? I have recieved 3 in
the past month and have emailed them all and have not heard back from
any of them. I was wondering if calling them has been better for anyone.

Thanks

Call them!! its just to easy for them to delete or ignore an email!
Plus its more personal and you will be able to get a feel for them and what they need.

Yes, call them. It was surprising to me how many people do not check their emails on a regular basis.

If I ever got a referral, I'd call them.

Of course, I haven't received 1 referral in the 8 months I've had my website. I've checked and there's no one around me that has a website, so they can't be getting the referrals. I guess no one is asking about Arbonne around here...Edited by: Leapfrog

I call and send an email. If they left a phone number, then they should expect a call.

Unfortunately, sometimes the referrals are just other consultants looking to
see who is in the area. This has happened to me several times.

Anyway, calling is better.

BTW, I was a referral on my sponsor's website. I fell from the sky for her,
signed up as a business builder, and my leg brought about half of the
volume that got her to RVP (I'm an Area Manager). So, the website is worth
it because you just never know!!

Wow, you guys are really making me think that I need to make the investment to get my own website. Been deliberating, but couldn't decide.

I did the same thing Allison! I fell from the sky for my sponsor, and then got a BB, and then she got a BB right away. I think I'm going to go first step district this month. I haven't brought in as much Volume as you, but I did make it pretty easy on her....and found her thru her website. smileys/smiley2.gif

I am excited! I just set up my website at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb & just received an order over the weekend. It was only around $70 but it was an order just the same!! I know we have quite a few IC in my area & I didn't really expect to get anything from the website, I just wanted to use it to direct people to for info, etc.

My mom just got a referral from the website from a person coordinating a vendor fair for nurses in the area. The coordinatorhad done one in Louisville and had an Arbonne person approach her about participating, and now she is doing one here in town, so she went to Arbonne.com and found my mom. It is an all day event and sounds like a great opportunity, all the nursing schools in town are sending their students. She has gotten a couple of referrals, too, but no orders yet.

I forgot to add, there is a woman who lives only a couple of miles from me.
She's also under my sponsor. This woman decided not to spend the money
to get a website. We both now realize if she had, I would have been under
her and she would have been an AM as opposed to the DM she still is! A lot
of this business is luck, so I say try to stack the deck in your favor as much
as you can!

I have a question,do you guys do parties or something else?

I don't look for parties but if one finds me I don't turn it down. I am loving the approach that Hannah Dugan uses. It is well thought out and many people are achieving great success with it. She has two recorded calls you can hear at 212 990-7056 & the 2nd is 212 990-6971. You can do it in chunks of time from anywhere fitting it into your life & schedule. I have been on 3 way calls with a prospect while implementing this approach where my other Arbonne connection is at her daughter's dance recital, a spa, & an expo. I absolutely love it & think it is worth anyone's time to hear about it and see if it will work for them.

teresa- like you I am loving my website! I have alot of friends and family out of town and it has been nice to be able to direct them to my website to check things out! I got my first order from a friend in Florida the week after I set mine up- it was a 135 order-- so really nice for me- I have since been able to get couple more from there- and I have had my site up around a month-- really waiting on some nice referrals!

I agree Leah! It is a wonderful tool to have available for so many reasons, the long distance friends, families, & prospects being some great reasons. It makes it so much easier when they are able to browse themselves at their leisure.

Do you find that they give you the wrong information. I have 4 last month all fake infor.

Is there another way to see others con,dm,& am?

Also when you get an order online can you see their infor & what they bought?
