Hello Everyone,
Ok I'm doing my first show tomorrow so if anyone can give me any tips that would be awsome! So far at the beginning I have planned for them to do the show of hands and then fill out there personal information on small slips of paper to be used for a drawing. Introducing the goody bag and then getting into the actuall spa. Then showing face and some make up products and closing with the drawing. Anyh other ideas would be super! thank you

My biggest advice is to follow the flip cards! Show them the pictures of the cornflakes, raisins and grapes. Along with the black light picture before and after. Sounds like you are ready for an awesome spa!

Make sure you offer the opportunity to be a hostess or join you in business with your guests. Offer the opportunity to join with your hostess.

Remember to be yourself and have fun! I know you will do just fine!!

Just remember to relax and have fun! Even if you mess up on something, they won't know it. I've even thought about putting the lip apeel on with them so they can laugh at me too!smileys/smiley36.gifjust think of yourself as one of them sharing a great secret with all of them. don't go there saying " I have to sell this, or I have to recruit." All you do is show them how to use everything and it sells itself!

Keep it simple also. People tend to get turned off of doing something if it looks too complicated. Good luck!!!

remember that even the small spas can be a blessing! I made it to VIP last night. There were 2 guests and the hostess had a $125 order just for herself. I told her she would be better off getting the Ultimate Spa Set for $99 and THEN putting her order with her 2 guests and getting the 55% off. She said she didn't want to sell, but another girl came in while we were finishing up and I watched her sell this girl $75 worth of stuff!

So just go in there not expecting great things and if it's meant to be, the great things will happen!

My first Spa, only 1 person showed up. She booked and I am STILL going from people that just keep booking all from this one person. Offer an incentive for booking. I got no bookings last night, but a recruit. If you have nothing to give, make up a Gift Cert. on your computer and if you have to order the gift with her stuff, that's what you have to do. Women love gifts.

Most of all, have fun show your passion for the products and the business and know that you will do fine. I'm still a bundle of nerves when I walk in and start, but once you get going you'll settle down and have fun with it!!

Good Luck!! Keep up posted!smileys/smiley20.gif

Do you guys use yoru good bag?

Also, I'm wanting to try to do a foot sauna. I plan on buying cheap socks and cheap plastic bags for people to put over their feet. Is this to much? I do this at home and love it with the herbal serenity.

Hi Rose,

I always use my goody bag. It helps to keep me from getting too far off track. I'm afraid if I didn't use it, I would forget to tell them something. I have to tendency to ramble. It can also be a great ice breaker. I am usually nervous before I start a spa. Once I get going, the attention is off of me and on the ladies and the products.

I do the bags and the socks. The women usually love it! Ido the HS foot creme on one foot and the Frozen Margarita on the other.

Good luck. Remember...have fun and enjoy!

I always use my goody bag. When I show them everything in it they usually say "wow". I should call it my wow bag lol

I'm always nervous before my spas too, sometimes I get so shaky people must think I'm nuts smileys/smiley36.gifOnce I get going I settle down and feel right at home. The ladies are usually pretty good about making you feel welcome. They always tell me that I did a great job. Hope you have a great time and let us know how things turn out!

I think the goodie bag is a great approach. It lets people know why you joined and what keeps you motivated. I usually put in my favorite Beauticontrol item in there.

My goody bag is all about the audience! It is what they could get by joining BeautiControl. There are items in there that have my name on it or a picture of my famliy, but it is truly all about them.

Go to Walmart and buy some dish pans for under $1. That is what I use for the hostess to soak her feet.

Congrats Lisa on making it to VIP! WHO HOOO!!!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

smileys/smiley19.gif My first UNSUCCESFUL show! It wasn't m y hostess fault, she put in 110% People just did not show up! I"m so sad about it all! :( why didn't people show up for this thing? It really makes it frustrating. I guess I went in thinking that I was going to make a decent amount. I didn't even sell $100 worth! smileys/smiley19.gif

How many did she invite? Have your hostesses over invite so that way they get a good turn out.

Hang in there! We all have had parties that were less than what we were hoping for.

A big http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley31.giffor you.

Oh Rose!

Do NOT give up! believe me, I had one (my recruiter did, I was hostess) and only my sister and 1 of my friends showed up! I ended up signing that day. I wanted it all! Then when I had my own first spa only 1 showed. Don't get discouraged, your hostess will spread the word Im sure! If she likes it, she'll tell everybody what they missed out on!smileys/smiley31.gif

I have nothing on the books for the next week. smileys/smiley19.gif But I do plan on taking my Escape Bag everywhere I go! I might stop and visit some friends I haven't seen in a long time and pamper them. We can't let the slow times get us down, it's just a shame because this is such a wonderful time to spread the word and I feel like I'm once again at a stand still.

And thank you Vicki!! Vip was my goal in Feb. but I'm happy to have met that goal finally!

On to the next goal!!

Let's get out there and touch some lives!!smileys/smiley1.gif

Rose, did she give you a list of everyone she invited with either name, number or emails or addresses? If not, get the list from her and contact them for either a one on one, and say I would love to show you some of the items you didn't get to see. If they act interested book a one on one after showing them the products, ask them if they know any friends who would love a spa escape, more or less ask them do they know any friend who need to be pampered and spoiled like you just did them. One thing I am learning is to try and figure out a way to turn a negative into a positive. I was like you very frustrated, but I found a way to start making it go my way. Keep believing in yourself and what you are selling.

I like what someone said awhile back, she got 5 rejections I think it was then when she was ready to pack it all in, she got a yes. Its a numbers game, sometimes you just have to figure out how to turn the numbers in your favor.

Hugs and it will happen!!!!! Just keep believing. Another way to think of it, is your not the only one out there that is going to say yes. You just got to keep going and not give up!!!

Let us know how the corporate spas go. Good Luck!!!!
