A new consultant I recruited last week has received part one of her beauticase. There isn't the normal holdal but in it's place a small tote holding all the paperwork/forms etc..
Does anyone know if the bag comes separate or have they changed it. She was most disappointed and said 'that's why it was so cheap'.

The spa bag is not included in the special $99 promotion. It is normally $35, but the special sign up/BeautiU price is $17. (Valued at $85) She can purchase one at sign up or at BeautiU. Consultants are able to purchase one spa bag a month.
I know several consultants who are purchasing the spa bag for their new recruit so that way they have it right away.
Hope that helps!

I explained to my hostess that since there is the special the bag is not included. Also explained that (at least in my unit) most of us carry our items in a basket so its more appealing.

I still carry my spa bag with me. It normally is included in the price at $179 and $250.
A basket is such a neat idea! Do you use decorated baskets, or plain ones? I think it would be neat to have one for each season!

I don't think the bag is unappealing at all. I think it's quite professional. But I just noticed mine hasa rip near the closure! Ugh. Now I have to buy one at full cost.
Please do describe the baskets in more detail. Do you use 1 big one or multiple? I'm picturing a wicker laundry basket!

I do use a wicker basket that I found at my local craft store. Its got three different colors of brown so it looks a lot less plain and has a carrying handle. I plan on using it year round.
unappealing wasn't exactly the word I was looking for! Sorry about that. I do use my bag. I use it to carry my books and hostess supplies in as well as my own personal BeautiControl items for people to sample. So more room to carry stuff in! I like the basket because here I am carrying this basket with ALL the Beauticase contents and women get more of a visual and hands on of what you really do get. I also add in new stuff too, like this month I put in the BeautiBistro set and the color confections.

I love that idea of the basket too, Rose! I like that people can get the visual of what all you get because it really is an amazing value. I like that you add the new stuff too..that can give them an idea of what they can start to add on for their qualifying order as well!

I also use a basket. I place my sets that come in the Beauticase in it along with my goody bag and the client folders. As I go through my spas I take out the products I am discussing. At the end when I'm doing my close, I place each set back telling the price of each individual set and then tell them what it ALL will cost them if theychoose to take advantage of the opportunity. I carry paperwork, some demo items, literature, etc. in my bag.
I signed up during the $99 last year and was dissapointed when I didn't receive the bag. I ordered it at BeautiU. I am making sure to tell my new recruits it does not come with the $99.

yes it would be nice. But then I think that they save a lot of money by keeping them rather than letting all the "kit nappers" have them and let them sit in a corner

Well, I will probably seem strange, but I carry the clear Storage containers. One has my demo products, one has products I have on hand to sale and I use my spa bag for my extras and paperwork, order forms, client info, my bc table clothect. But I like the basket idea. I have all my sets in the plastic zipper bags and some in those pretty gift bags, depends on the set. I had a good day today, I sold over $200.00 and thats just from sitting around chatting about products with 2 different friends of mine. I just wish they were interested in the business side of it. I have another one on one session on Monday. I do a lot of one on ones. Everyone I keep asking about hostinga spa escape is too busy or just do not want to have a party or get together as I call it. I ask about a one on one and they love the one on one.

I think I'm goi9ng to use the clear storage containers to take my inventory with me. That way people can leave with items.

I use a basket also...I use a large easter basket style with a handle, it is a rectangular shape, about 12 by 17 inches and about 4 in or 5 in deep. I line it with differnt cloth napkins depending on the time of year. It is easier to pull the stuff out and if anyone wants to look through it it is also accessible. I use a tote my daughter bought me for the literature. I have found the basket to be really easy to work with. If anyone wants a beauticontrol bag......I have two, one zebra stripe and one black, you are welcome to themif you pay the postage. Let me know.
