I did not use this when I joined - now I know the benefit- get lots of stuff for me! But my upline thought it was a waste since dont get as much volume for it- so not knowing better I did as she said!

Anyway- have someone that I think this would work great for- not wanting to do the biz but has alot she wants to buy-my question is can you put in the whole sets of things- like the r{ set and mens line set as part of the package or does it have to be broken down? She would be able to get almost everythng she wants to get!

And I believe I am correct- you do not get 100 for 20 using the rsvp-correct? but do you get the host specials like the hand and foot lotions for $5 , etc?

Thanks for your help!

I just did it for my renewal. You can get the sets, but no hostess specials. The only extra I was given was an rsvp special of the body set for $20. Hope that helps.

I just called about this last week and was told no specials and no body sets for $20. But I've heard people getting them for that price.

Unless they are changing, it has always been that you get the body set for $20, but that is the only bonus since you are already getting 50% off. Also, don't forget about the bonus you will get if someone you sponsor orders the rsvp, $50. And the dm gets $25 for each one in their central. If you are dm and your personallly sponsored C orders it then you get $75!!!

I kinda understand uplines discouraging rsvps because of the volume issue (which also createsmore volume for them to get paid on smileys/smiley2.gif), but I still think the rsvps are very valuable, especially for your situation. Whenever it is someone who is not interested in growing in the business fast, I always suggest the rsvp. To do it the other way (order $500 in retail plus using the 2 $100 for $20s) isn't fair to the client. It costs them about $35 more after tax and shipping. Now, if they want all the extra bonuses, then maybe the other way is better. But, usually, the client may want 1 foot cream or hand cream so they just include it in the rsvp. And for a DM or consultant, that extra $50-$75 is a big deal. To a RVP, not so much. I just know for me personally, I was told never to do rsvps and to do them would be foolish. Well, I disagree.

Barbara that is what I was thinking as well! For this client since she would like several complete sets as well as other items this will be her cheapest way to go!

Now just to keep my head straight- the volume that I will get paid my % on is the 350 right????? plus of course the bonus...thanks

Yes, you get paid on the $350 (plus your bonus!)smileys/smiley5.gifThe other option gets you $500 in volume, but you are only getting paid on $365 and no bonus. So again, unless you really need that $500 volume for a qualification, to me, its not that big a deal. I don't feel right taking away the better bargain for my client so I can get another $150 in volume. An RSVP is the way to go.

One more question on this line --- this person also wants to pick some orders via catalogue sales- when she signs up and we use the rsvp for her- can she also put in the other as just an order???? or what would the best way to do this be? I have only been using the results approach so the party stuff is beyond me-thanks

Yes, she can. You have to click on the rsvp option to use it. If you want to order other products under retail, you just need to make sure you are no longer under the rsvp page.

When I need the volume, I do the $500 order way, but I eat the
difference. You have to offer the RSVP as it is written.
They will know that it is available after they get their sign up
info!

When you are "between promotions," like you are a dm with about
$5000 monthly volume or less, go for hte RSVPs. One month my
check was an extra $300 because of it!!

I agree I think its only fair I was told No rsvp bc of no credit I think its only
fair they will find out later and be bummed about not being able to use it
like i was and i think your right about the extra 25-50$ being a big deal!!

Just be up front and honest about the opportunity, specials and ordering
system the way it is written and give the person options. Then, let
him/her decide which way they want to go. That is a win-win for
everyone!

All great points of view. I too don't feel right about trying to force the Volume way over the RSVP.

So I use the same approach as I do with everything else. If it's a BB then Iteach them both options & tell them everything that goes with each option. Then they can choose which they want to do personally.

If it is a personal shopper then I tell them about the RSVP only. If it is a month that I need the extra volume then I will order it the way that gives me more volume & eat the difference.

I have had people change their mind about the RSVP because they wanted the travel set, and you can't order it with the RSVP. Also sometimes when it is a few orders going in like a catalog show type of situation, the 'hostess' signs up and picks out what she wants, but puts in her 'guests' orders first at retail, and then puts most of what she wants under the $100 for $20, and ends up paying less than 50% and having access to the PWPs and travel set.

the last time I did one it was when the teas were buy one get one free, and we put them in under the RSVP and they only sent one of each. I called and they said no special apply under the RSVP. I wasn't aware of that, since they didn't even have them listed individually.

I put in orders both ways and print them out and then let the person decide.
