A new idea to go along with drawing boxes for health clubs, etc!
Next to your drawing box, have samples for women to try. If the gym has a shower area, you could put samples of the latte foaming cleanser for them to try, etc. When they sign up for the drawing, also have a product survey for them to fill out.
I will get a copy of the survey and post it. I don't know if it will be today or sometime next week that it will be available.
Keep the questions simple if you make up your own! One question is: What is your first impression of the product?
The Director on the conference call this morning never asked them how much they would pay for the product. It was very general!
The last question (sorry I didn't hear them all) was would you like to participate in another product survey? Everyone said yes!
If you have questions, I will do my best to answer them!

Hey Vicki! That is great info! I have been wanting to do something with my 24 hour fitness, but they are so big I didn't know where to start. Someone already has a MK box there. But, no samples. HMMM, that probably would be very good, with the review so you get names and info. I love that!
Your post sounded like a follow up on a previous post, but I didn't see the other. Is there another on the same topic? I am very interested in being very proactive right now. I have yet to get 2 spas/wk, or anywhere close! I need contacts!
Thanks for all the good stuff here!

There were 2 drawing box threads a few weeks ago. That is what I am following up with.
If you do a box at your big fitness center, see if you can have the samples and box in the locker room by the showers. That would be great if you are doing the samples of latte!
Quite a few consultants in the Houston area are doing drawing boxes, but not with a product survey.
I will check to see if the information has been added to our Executive team's Yahoo group this morning. If it is, I will be able to get that product surveyposted.

Thats does sound like a great idea. Too expensive for me thouhg. I have to keep in mind that I'm in this business to MAKE money not spend it all. I actually came up with a pretty good deal for my self. 50% will go towards a credit card bill of mine while another 50% will go back towards ordering.

How would you do the latte samples? Wouldn't that lose its foaminess?
I would also be concerned about them being taken or thrown away by someone before I had any one leave info. I like the idea, but would be afraid of investing too much $ for too little return in contacts, etc.
I wouldn't mind handing people samples personally, making that connection, and using the survey to reconnect with them.
Great plan, Rose! I have all investment in the business so far, which is still just developing. I think its a good idea to limit what is reinvested in the business!

I was wondering about the latte losing it's foaminess too. I'm not making much profit yet, but It will happen soon! I am getting a little discouraged though. The spa that I had on the books for tomorrow cancelled and I don't have anything else until next month. It is so hard to get people to even give you a chance to tell them about bc. They always say " I had a candle party or home interiors party and nobody came, so no thanks" What do you do?smileys/smiley5.gif
I know this is a great business, but I'm just having an off day. Thanks for listening.smileys/smiley1.gif

About the Lattes....this was just an idea thrown out on the conference call. They were talking about having them in little cups inside a baggie. I'll let you know if anyone tries it and has success with it!
Mainly, they are using show of hands or the spa bath minerals.
I agree I am in the business to make money, but sometimes you have to spend a little to make a lot!
As far as booking/holding spa parties: I give them an incentive to hold the party on their original date! For those who have hosted other party plans and had no attendance: I tell them that this is like going to a day spa without the expense....a chance to unwind and relax without the husband, kids, phone and other distractions of life. If you are talking to them in person, show them the picture of the group relaxing. Make it sound so good that they can't pass it up!
I also deal with reschedules...one of my hostesses called and had to reschedule for a third time because her BIL was in a serious car accident and needs surgery. So she has another date on my calendar!
I never let that get to me! I go out there and find other interested ones or I have a Beautipage sale to generate more business! Thinking of having one of those forMother's Day gifts.
One thing I did hear on the call yesterday thatI guess I never thought about:Think outside the box to make things happen for yourself! That is what I am really trying to do to fill my calendar andget to my leadership goals!
Hang in there!

Like Vicki said, "hang in there". We all go to those down periods. It is all part of the business.
My Spa for today got re-scheduled so, I went to a Home and Garden expo show to relax, walk around, eat samples, get ideas and prospects.
I talked to people, made contact and handed my fliers.
When I went to the restroom, I offer the instant manicure and extreme repair hand cream, talked to everybody and handed my fliers. They all love the treat. No one said no to a free sample.I didn't try to book a spa, I didn't want to push it. I did get lots of numbers though!
My advise is to make lots of fliers and let the world know what you do. I tell them that after their spa, whenever they feel stressed, they will remember that they have a choice; to practice stress or to practice peace of mind. Their Spa ESCAPE will help their body and mind form a strong, positive habit. It is all up to them to take time out of their busy schedule to relax, learn how to de-stress and feel great!
We have to remember that we help people relax. So, we need to relax and take time for ourselvesby creating your own sanctuary in our bedrooms or bathrooms to ESCAPE.
Blessings,

bump...
I would like to know if anyone can share your survey questionnaire with me.
I handed out some samples of instant manicure, extreme repair hand lotion and herbal serenity foot creme in the past few days. I want to follow up with these people but need to get some ideas on what to ask so to find potential clients.
I plan to ask them the following questions:
1. What is your impression on the samples?
2. Would you want to purchase it if the price is only $xxx?
3. If not, please state the reason that discourage you from purchasing?
4. Would you like to have a free in-home spa where you and your friends will be pampered for free?r
5. Would you like to have a job that makes $100 per hour and have fun too?
I would love to get your feedback on my questionnaire. I need to start doing spas to make some money.
thank you all for help!
