Welcome to the boards!You will find a great wealth of information here!I am with White Lily Candles and I enjoy it.I have only been with my company a little over a month.You need to know that every company is different and that there is no perfect company out there,but there are alot of different companies to choose from,you have to find the company that best fits you and has a products that you are passionate about!What I like most about my company is that there is no monthly quotas and you can build your business as fast or as slow as you want.I am from Ohio,in a small town called Waynesburg!smileys/smiley36.gifAs far as the products,I sell candles and bath and body products.We are able to sell off of our website as well.I wish you much luck in finding a company!It will take time,but if you do your research and ask plenty of questions it will be worth it in the end!smileys/smiley2.gif

I have something that will cover 2 out of your 3 possible wishes! The Pampered Chef!!! We have home/kitchen decor type items and food items. If you want to do a spa business, why not a kitchen spa?? Why do we have to wait for a special occasion to pamper ourselves?? Why not every night at dinner time???

What do you like the most about it? I absolutely love the White Lily products. I love that they are all natural and hand made. I enjoy being part of a comany that is growing, and I really like that all the consultants are friendly and we help each other out. I joined GTG and BC mainly for personal use because of the products, but also do some online marketing for them and keep up sales that way.

I couldn't tell you how many people I have spoken with who jumped into a party plan without finding out the details ahead of time - only to find out "too late" that there were requirements or such that they didn't know about and didn't want to adhere to. If you narrow down to the products that you are interested in (as you first and foremost have to love the products you represent), then find out what companies offer those products - and move forward from there.

What do you like the most about it? I love that both companies had great sign-up deals (SAF is free!), no quotas to meet, and that both of them greatly appeal to my girls!!

I started a business for the benefit of my children and my family, and I believe that's why I'm successful. Welcome! You are on the right track to follow your passion. Also look at your market and the different ways to sell your product. You know you have a good fit when after you talk to someone you have 50 different ways to market it. smileys/smiley36.gifAnd your mind is going overtime. Then slow down your mind and look to see if this is your right fit and if you believe in the company and products.

How long have you been with the company? I have been with Latasia since the beginning of February but chose this company because of getting to work with alot of the ladies I worked with at my former company, Petra Fashions, where I was a Director.
What do you like the most about it? Well, the jewelry is beautiful and very affordable and I love their guarantee but I also love the people I'm working with. From the owner of Latasia on down, you have access to help and motivation. It has been an awesome experience.

We earn 40% commission off the top of each party we do from the very beginning. Once we sell our first $1500 total we then make 50% from then on. No waiting on paychecks. You can make up to 20% of your downline's wholesale sales and you start at 13% at the first Director level. Until then, you make a $150 training bonus for every team member you add when they sell their first $1500 and you make 6% of all of their wholesale sales until you promote to the first level of Director.
You should follow your gut instincts. If you read about something and it just feels right, then go for it. Some of us have been with a couple different companies before we found our "IT" and that's ok. You ultimately have to do what's going to be a blessing to you and your family, not what's been good for someone else. There are so many out there and lots sound GREAT from the get-go, but aren't so much. So.keep asking questions, like "are there hidden charges", "how much money do you PERSONALLY make", "what's required of me", "can I get a refund on my kit if I change my mind". There are lots more, but those are things that sometimes aren't disclosed up front. And lots of us sales people are likely to say "oh I make xx% on my sales from each party..." translated..."I don't do many parties, so it doesn't look like I make much". So find out HOW MUCH business she/he does and HOW MUCH $$ they actually make in dollars. Do they equal out? How much does she spend on her business. Does that make sense for how many parties she does? There are so many out there and lots sound GREAT from the get-go, but aren't so much. So.keep asking questions, like "are there hidden charges", "how much money do you PERSONALLY make", "what's required of me", "can I get a refund on my kit if I change my mind". There are lots more, but those are things that sometimes aren't disclosed up front. And lots of us sales people are likely to say "oh I make xx% on my sales from each party..." translated..."I don't do many parties, so it doesn't look like I make much". So find out HOW MUCH business she/he does and HOW MUCH $$ they actually make in dollars. Do they equal out? How much does she spend on her business. Does that make sense for how many parties she does? Sometimes we love our product SO MUCH that we over spend and call it a business expense when it's really a personal expense because they WANT it not because they NEED it to do business. They are high quality products that meet national guidelines for children's toys. Our outfits meet the guidelines for children's clothes even though they are for our collectibles. Our business supplies are high quality and our company designs ads for us. We also have websites provided for us.

Home and Garden Party is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year and they are pulling out all the stops. The trip is going to be awesome and achievable. It is also a Christian based and debt free company.
I have been with them for 7 years and have been impressed with the willingness to share and help others grow of all the designers that I have had the opportunity to meet.
I also like the qualityproducts and the affordable pricing.
I am in Northern Illinois
My advice would be to take those companies that you are interested in and create that spreadsheet, write down the pros and cons of each company, follow your heart and your passion. You'll make the right decision for you.
