Question for those that have been doing this a while -I am trying to pencil in a date on my calendar to hold an open house after NTC &when the new products are released. In previous years, are new products available to purchase & ship as soon as NTC is over or is there a delay in their release generally? Does everyone get to order right away or is priority to order given to those that have attended NTC? Same question regarding the new catalogs. I know its a bit out still, but we have a very crazy spring ahead of us with several things already on the calendar so I am just trying to plan ahead and don't want to picka date in May that may not be realistic to have new things here to showcase.

Thanks!

I can't answer specifically, but I just received an email from my NVP saying that for those attending NTC, a 50% package will be available for all the new products. It is almost $1100 worth of product!

Woah! Steep price! I wasn't factoring that into my NTC expenses!

Hmm, that is a good question. I want to host an open house/spa party in April, but maybe I should wait? Or, I could do another one in May to showcase the new products? Does anyone who does open houses have a suggestion?

My RVP said to pack an extra bag! Not sure how much the products
will be, but they'll only be available to those at NTC. I'm
psyched!

Thanks for the answers so far. Just to clarify, I can't make it to NTC, unfortunately. But I am trying to figure out about how long it may take for me to receive any new products that are released and if they are generally available for purchase soon after the conference has ended.

Thanks!

I am waiting until they come out to make a personal order, and I'm running dangerously low on what I already have!! I hope it's all available right away!

If I remember right, the new products are available after the day of the launch. You should be able to go to the main web page and see the new products. Not sure if the same applies to the catalogues though. If you call the corporate office I am sure that they can give you a tentative date of product availability so you can keep your calendar full.

I hope to have a wholesale open house with the new products to introduce them to what is new!

yes, I think you are right, Iremember the product launch was one evening and the next morning the new products were available on the website

Just got off a manager's call, and apparently it's going to be a special like the RSVP, where we pay half the value but instead of getting only half the volume credit, we will get more credit IF we buy it at NTC. This is only available to those at NTC. Of course, they can't tell it what it is yet, but they said it will be new stuff all across the product lines and such great stuff that it will cause our businesses to explode. I'm all for that! The Vanishing Act is certainly doing that for my business right now.

We also learned that although these products will be available online to everyone the day after they are introduced (introduction either Thursday 4/20 or Friday 4/21) they WILL be so in demand that they will likely be on back-order within 2 days of launch. So I'd say clear your credit card whether you are going to NTC or not, and get as much of the new stuff as you can afford so it will be available to your team and your WBs. Just my 2 cents.

they said the same things last year and I don't recall having a problem ordering any of the new products (men's and baby) or having them go on back order soon after launch, anybody else remember differently?Edited by: cassandra

With so many more consultants this year, I bet there is a bigger chance of it happening...kwim? Think about the explosion in August/September and how many things went on b/o...I hope they would plan for it but how do you forecast something like this in such large quantities?

wasn't August when the new system was put into place and tons of orders got behind? it wasn't really "backorders" but the whole system was backed up. Am I remembering this right?

July 28th to be exact...the day I signed upsmileys/smiley5.gif

There were periods in Aug, Sept, & maybe even in Oct when even the RE9 sets were backordereddue to all of the new sign ups.Edited by: Kiana's Mom

yes, you're right, it took forever to get anything whether it was a "real" backorder or not... THAT sure was a rough time to come in! smileys/smiley36.gif

I am sure they will be prepared. It's not like they don't know how many consultants there are. I know the products will be wonderful, but they have to say stuff like "We are going to blow your mind! Your business will explode! Hurry up and buy now or we will run out! smileys/smiley2.gif

smileys/smiley36.gifwell, they will run out if everyone's hurrying up to buy now now nowsmileys/smiley36.gif

and ya'll pleasebe wary of the uplines who will take advantage of this "hurry, buy now, get it while it's there" to boost their volume, 'nuf saidsmileys/smiley2.gif

If we purchase at NTC, when we should receive it? Normal shipping you think?

I think you bring it home with you. My NVP told us to bring a large bag.

Yes, product will be available at NTC to take home at a special price for only those in attendance.

Last year they assured everyone there was enough product for everyone in attendance, if they wanted. And they had a VERY STREAMLINE process for picking up your products during NTC (thus avoiding a stampede!!)
