I am new to the business and I don't really have many contacts yet. My mother and father in law put together a big golf outing for our city (I think they are local business men and women? I never really thought to get info about it).


Anyways, she offered to let me put some information together to put inside every golfers "goodie bag". I guess there are about 170 golfers this year.


I"m not sure what to put in the bag except of course my business card. Most of the golfers are men so I know they won't really be interested in what I have to offer.


Do you have some suggestions for me? I need to get craking and get the stuff to her in 2 weeks!

Why don't you put in your card, a couples spa coupon (found on FOF at beautinet) and a $25 to be used at the spa? It would at least get your name out there. Or, take some of the bath salts and put them in a little baggie with yoru card and brief instructions? That way they could just give the stuff to you.

Rose had a great idea about the bath minerals.Also, maybe get some 1 oz hand creams and put in there. I'd throw in a business card, and maybe break up some of the Spa Express Starter Kits and put one item in each little bag (might have to put some instructions on the lip apeel and the warming trend. Men can shave with that!). Those items really are unisex.


Men want to take care of themselves too. Foot creme is a big seller for the men in my neighborhood. Maybe pump out some samples of that in a little screw-cap jar. If they're business owners, you might wanna offer something special like a $25 coupon for booking office appreciation spas. Emphasize that the spa is FREE to them! Push the express escape since they more than likely value their time. 170 golfers--girlie, the possibilities go on and on!

You guys have great suggestions! My director just told me about getting the baggies in the jewlery making section of a craft store for the bath minerals. There are other containers with snap on lids you can use for samples of creams or Show of Hands. Look at Paronbusinessaids.com and check out the poly strips with labels.

You could glue them to a cute cardstock with a note about how to use it. I am planning to make these samples up to hand out as I try out prospecting. So nervous!

I already have the bath minerals in baggies stapled to my business cards, I did that as soon as I got my stuff! I think it is a great idea!


I just want the people to know that we offer more than just the bath minerals, so that is where I was stuck. And truthfully, I'm not sure how many people really look through their bags. I wasn't sure if I should make a little flier that says something to the men to pamper their wife with a gift certificate for a complimentary spa....

Mistie,they look throught the goodie bags and if they don't maybe their wives will!!! Make sure you offer a free spa escape, just put on their "You won a free spa escape" from your local BeautiControl Consultant. Even if some call for a one on one, I have had those lead to spa parties. If you don't have enough of the flyers that show the escape, you can still do it in black and white, to keep cost down. Also, if you are nervous about meeting with someone one on one, bring an assistant (friend or another BC consultant) and you can use them as your model for the makeup line and showing how to use the skin care products, and that way your not alone when you meet them.

If you want to add 1-5 people to your business with no cold calls you should check it out!

YOu could also put something in there about contacting you for gifts for the lady in there life. Put down that you will wrap and deliver the gift all they have t do is e-mail or give youa quick call. You couldtitle it "Shopping made Easy"


All men would like an easy way to shop for thier significant others during Holidays and Mothers Day is coming up!!
