Sounds like something I would love to do. :) But I love my hourly pay plus getting bonus' for all the hard work I do. Also love the company I work with. This sounds like it would be a good one depending on which decision maker you need to speak with. I'm good at getting info out of people :D

I used to complete this type of work with Westat on a project they had, and like you isis I prefer an hourly wage versus being paid per completed survey. I wish this was hourly because I would jump on it in a heartbeat with the experience that I have, and the night time hours would have been perfect as well.
Good luck to those who have sent PM's, keep us posted on how things turn out.

It has been brought to my attention by several respectful, and long time members of the board that although this company is legit there are payment issues with them. Some members were not paid on time, while others were not paid at all for the work that was completed. I just wanted to make members aware of this because like everyone else we have bills to pay and families to care for, and to work and not be paid for it or receive payments late on a continual basis will not help our situations.
For those who still want to apply and give it a chance just a quick note to do your search first. If you decide to purse the opportunity, please keep us posted on the outcome. Good luck to those who apply.

Yes, there were some pay issues in the past because we were paying contractors on a "per survey accepted" rate. Meaning if the client did not accept the survey or if it did not result in a sale, if it was not an accepted insurance, ect......we and the agent both were not paid. We also had an issue with a particular client not giving us timely status reports. Since then, we have done away with that client.
We now pay on all completed and qualified surveys, meaning all information is turned in on the form and it is one of the correct insurances on the list, and the contractor follows the script correctly, then the contractor is paid $7 no questions asked.
This has cut down on payroll processing time because we are no longer waiting on status reports back from the clients in order to pay the contractors.
Since we have done this, there have been no pay issues.
Also, there is a "no work, no pay" clause in the contracts that the contractors sign, meaning that if they withold their services, or do not work their scheduled hours, or quit without notice, they have in turn breached their contract and pay will be held.
The new pay structure has been in place for over 2 months now. If anyone has any further questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to send an IM and I will be more than happy to discuss things.
Thank you.

Thank you for clarifying the information for our members. I am sure that you will have a few qualified recipients that will do a wonderful job for you. In no way was I telling people to not work for the company. I just wanted to advise members out there of the issues, and I was hoping that you would come along to clarify which you did, so for that thank you. As stated before good luck to everyone who has applied.:D
