Is anyone doing these or employee appreciation spas?What is your sucess with them?How are they done?Are you selling many products or getting mostly leads and bookings for spas?Do you have a drawing?I would like to start doing these.Any ideas would be helpful.Thanks,

I know that someone else on here mentioned that they are doing staff appreciation spas. She said that she does them for wellness centers and that she calls and tells the manager what she does. Then she said that usually she tells them that she has products that she could bring with her, but if they would rather her keep it to an appreication type thing, rather than for purchase that is fine, but that usually they allow her to bring her items. Then after you do that, you usually will get bookings. She said that a manager told someone else about it and they also called to see if she would do it for them too. I think that is a great idea. I get my name out and get business through Health Fairs/ Staff Appreciations and Customer Appreciations.
It is a great way to get started if you are not in an area where you were raised.
I do some sales, but find if you put your products in to Sets ranging in the $25-$40 range they sale easier.
I mostly work on getting bookings. I offer priority booking that day
( priority booking is allowing anyday that is highlighted on my calender for anytime they would like. I tell them normally I only do 2 Spas a week, but my calender is open to them no matter how many I alreay have that week)
I also have a drawing that I have them register for AFTER they have recieved my Spa Treatment. It asks if they are interested in hosting, personal consultation or the oppurtunity.

I just had 6 SPas for an Apartment complex and I got 2 recruits outof it.

You could also set up at a Starbucks, or coffee shop and give free back rubs( with back rubbers and use your neckwraps)

I almost AlWAYS contact by phone first and if theyare interested I will usually set up a meeting.
At the meeting I will show them a flyer of what I do and sample a few spa treatments. I also will give that person a neckwrap.

I tell them I have a Mobil Spa, and offer a complimentary Staff Appreciation (customer, teacher,whatever coincides with who I am speaking with) I let them know that I have done Teacher/Staff Appreciation with _____________.

The products I use are available for sale, but I leave it to the business if they allow sales or not, I tell them " it does not matter to me one way or another, the products are great and people usually would like to purchase, but on the other hand I don't want sales to take away from my purpose of mybeing there(which is to pamper staff and show appreciation)
You will get no's, becuase they don't trust. But once you have done a few, word about you will spread and people will see what you are offering is great and not a scam. Your main purpose HAS TO BE TO PAMPER and get bookings.
If you go in wanting to sale, sale, sale, they will be able to tell.

I usually offer a special IF they book that day, like 30%-50% off at thier party, or a free instant manicure.

If they say, I need to check my schedule. Say, we could pencil in a date and if it does not work call me within 48 hours. If I don't hear from you I will consider it a firm date.

To get bookings on my calendar the day of the event, I offer a coupon worth $25 in free product. It is redeemable the night of their party.
This has worked well for me!

Good News everyone! hard work pays off. My new recurit (and best friend) went to different businesses around town. We got one school to book two shows plus several prospects! Also one district said we had to have permision from one of the higher ups. We went and she wasn't available but we did leave our card and stuff. Well, she called and asked for extra fliers and cards! I'm so excited and hope that hard work pulls through!

That is very exciting and encouraging news! When you say "higher ups", do you mean you went to the administration offices? Hope that works our for you. Schools would be a wonderful place to get your foot in the door!

Yes, the admin offices! haha, I couldn't think of what it was called. Can you tell I'm a blond? I get lots of blond moments. haha. Yes, I do hope it gets my foot in the door as well.
