Hello, It's me again.

I am going to start booking parties for April. I would like to know how you ladies do your parties and do you use the party order forms that is in our back office? I thought about just using a receipt book with a carbon copy. I know when you go to Pampered Chef or Mary Kay parties they have their own ordering sheets. I just want to llok professional as I can. But does the order forms in out back office have all the products on them?

Anyways, let me know what you all have found to work for you.

Hi, Pam! I use the 3part carbonless books from Office Max. You are able to remove them from the binding and they stay intact. I had a stamp made up with my name/phone number and web address that I stamp the pink copy (the one that the customer keeps). It is pretty bare, but it works. Also you can use the ones on the flyer - but then you don't have a receipt. 2 copies at least are the best at keeping your files straight.

A couple of things that worked out very well for my last show was a few cash n carry jars and a sample of each of our products on display (one candle burning). I passed around the jars and then had my shoulder bag out after my presentation to let them smell the others.

http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gifThen for a super fun game I did this: Place 4 or 5 votives in different scents on the floor (different colors so they can remember the scents). Give each guest 3 small pieces of paper and have them write their name on each, fold twice and put it in a basket or hat. Then start drawing names - when they hear their name they can grab a votive from the floor or from someone that already grabbed one. Keep drawing all of the slips out of the hat so no one knows which one they will end up with or if they will get one. So at the end they are stealing votives from eachother and laughing and giggling. It was fun, easy and rewarding :o). At the end, If you are generous, you can give the people who didn't getanything a votive.
Just an easy idea and super fun!

I really did not need to have to talk long - basic benefits of these products and the savings of the candle of the month club. It was super easy and everyone was having fun!

You should have seen them fight over the sweet orange and chili pepper! smileys/smiley36.gif The nails came out over that one! Even the wall flowers were giggling and participating.

I made up my own order forms which contain prices. They are user friendly but they don't allow me to provide a copy to my cutomers. I'm wondering if I should write out reciepts as well.

You can have a copy place such as Kinko's make them into 2 part carbonless sheets. They do this if you order enough - maybe have a seperate price sheet and a few blank lines so you can add scents to it.

A little off the subject, but still in the area of home parties, what kind of Hostess incentives do you all offer? and also what do you give for bookings?

Thanks,

Sandra
