I am building a residual income business. Though when I first started I did do both. However anytime I made right now$$ it was always put back into the business.

Jennifer you are so right about rolling it back in- up until this month the retail I have made I have been putting 75% back in- buying samples, brochures, or what ever!

This next month when commision checks are mailed I will receive a very nice little check from A****- my first to come from them- I am so excited- I think I will photocopy and frame then am tempted to just buy something unneccessary for myself- but will probably just roll most of it back in!

I think it depends on what you want and what you are willing to work for. I am pushing for the residual, but the right now money is nice to show my husband. I am finally starting to receive override checks that are justifying my effortshttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif! It takes alot of determination to "step over" your 35% commission, and not everyone wants to do that. I have a few consultants who sell for the retail profit. They are not working it enough to see $$ w/ residual. If you are only opening 4-5 accounts a month, that is not much. I don't know how long this will be an option though since it seems like everyone knows some w/ an account!

I only have 1 retail customer with 1 retail purchase. Sh is on a fixed income but loves the hand cream and purchased it once. Everyone else has signed up for the discount.

I'm doing a little of both as well. I'm trying to make DM this month,
so I've been offering many of the specials that I've found on here. I
have one person who is considering being a BB and that will help out a
lot if she decides to come on board!

this is sort of off the topic, but does anyone know if that offer to make DM qualification in your first sign-up month with $1000 RV is still going?? I think that's what it was...

Dear Consultant,

Special Trial DM Qualification Extended
Last year, we implemented a trial District Manager Qualification program that was scheduled to end this month. We've decided to extend this program for another six months to evaluate it further. The following program will continue until the end of September, 2006:

Qualification for District Manager:
When you accumulate $1,000 Personal Retail Volume (PRV) - your personal sales - in your Start Month (your first month with Arbonne), you will automatically enter into qualification for District Manager. You may finish qualification in your Start Month, or you may complete qualification in your second or third month in Arbonne. To complete the qualifications for District under this special trial program, the following must also be achieved:

. Retail Volume:
- $6,000 (Can$7,800) Retail Volume in one (1) month (the New Consultant's Start Month);
- $6,000 (Can$7,800) Retail Volume over two (2) months;
- Or, $7,500 (Can$10,000) Retail Volume over three (3) months.
. Retail Volume will accumulate over the entire qualification period.
. Minimum of $2,500 (Can$3,250) Retail Volume in the last month of the qualification period
. Minimum $100 (Can $130) PRV each month during the qualification period.

This special trial and qualification option is only available to New Consultants, and only available in your very first month with Arbonne. Once your start month passes, you may qualify for District Manager using the qualification program as outlined in our current SuccessPlan.
