Now that I've gotten my brochures, business cards, labelsand some scent samples made, I'm ready to go out and get the word out about our amazing candles! I'm headed out today to drop off a "gift" (votive) to some friends and my sister but I also want to bring some brochures with the scent samples attached to places. What kind of places work well? I'm thinking maybe our local laundromats andI know of a couple bulletin boards that allow you to put up ads. But where else can I go?

I would also keep some with you at all times. When you go the dr office leave a few, and anywhere people "sit" and wait. They are always looking for something interesting to read!
How about asking if you could leave a few at nail salons. For bulletin boards, i would leave your biz card with a sample. the brochures are more costly.

I put mine in the local community center.
I have been putting about 15 a week up there for the last month and I sold 2 jars and just got a call from a gal about buying some candles. smileys/smiley32.gif
It may not seem like a lot but it’s progress and the sample are cheap to make that I feel like I have got my moneys worth so far. smileys/smiley4.gif
