Okay, so I use Facebook daily but for the life of me cannot figure out how to target fans to a fan page? Does anyone have any ideas? I have googled and searched and still don't know for sure.

What do you mean? Do you have a fan page you are trying to get people go to and become a fan?

I am suppose to get fans for a fan page. I have spent the better part of my morning trying to figure it out. It sounded like it would be easy but I really don't know now.

It will take time, put a "become a fan" badge on your website if you have one, run a contest and special offers or incentives for people who are a fan. What is the fan page?

Not sure though if this will work but I've received some invitations to join a fan page. I haven't tried to invite one since I don't have fan page to promote. But I think there is a way on Facebook allowing you to invite people or friends to join a fan page. I just checked my account now and I got 1 fan page invitation. So I really think it's possible. You may want to give it a shot. ;)

Oh, I misunderstood you, I thought you were trying to get people to join your own personal fan page. All you need to do is go to the fan page, and under the main photo is a link that says "suggest to friends", click that and you can invite friends.

Look for pages similar to yours and invite those fans or post a link to your page. Be careful not to be spammy though.
