I never actually burned a Yankee Candle. I smelled them. Some smell very nice. I did notice that side by side the Yankee smells more perfumey while Mia Bella smells more like the real scent.

I also see them in alot of stores around here & in people's homes. Alot of people buy Yankee. I guess they have never heard of Mia Bella. It's our job to get the word out about Mia Bella!

Maybe we could all chip in & get a commercial made!

I have seen Yankee candles advertised in Home Outfitters flyers when they are on sale.


I'm never had one myself so I can't speak for the quality either.

I've burned several Yankee candles, and although I do love some of the scents, MB products burn sooooo much cleaner!! I found myself constantly having to wipe the top of the Yankee jars with a tissue to remove the black soot. MB candles also burn evenly all the way down...not the case with Yankee. The best part...MB prices are VERY comparable to theirs. Just my two cents.

Yankee are not even close in quality. I burned two votives side by side. The Yankee left nasty wax on the side. I had to baby the candle and remove waxas it kept burning out by drowing its wick in wax. Holder had to be thrown away as I could not get the wax out.


Ours burned all the way, NO wax left, NO babying it. Washed out the holder and looks brand new. The scent stayed until the end and actually I could never smell the Yankee as Mia Bella over powered it from the begining.

I tell people that if they like Yankee's, they will LOVE Mia Bella's!!
