Ok I figured I would start a discussion to here about different events or products a company is selling to be able to give back to Charity. Afterall I think we can all appreciate the many different giveback efforts.


So I will start:


Noah's Ark Workshop has just announced that our Cuddelz Bear through the month of May will be giving back to the American Stroke Foundation! May is Stroke Awareness Month!

Cuddelz 'Charity' Bear, an adorable 16" cuddly rainbow bear, symbolic of HOPE and PROMISE, has been designed to help support different charities through out the year!. Cuddelz Bear will be used to provide monetary support to American Stroke Foundation from now through May.

For every purchase of a Cuddelz Bear, $3 will be donated to the American Stroke Foundation! Cuddelz was first introduced in 2005 to help Huricane Katrina Victims and will continue now to become our charity bear to help support ASF. It's rainbow colors remind us of long ago and God's Promise to the World. May it bring hope to many different causes in monthes to come.


To have your group host a workshop with Cuddelz Bears (they can even donate them to a local charity to add a double effect) or to purchase a Cuddelz Bear Stuff Your Own Stuffed Animal Kit to go you can visit:

Our company has also encouraged us to have Bunny Bashes to give back to a local charity.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Benefit Bunny Bash will take place
April 15th, 2006 from 10am-12pm. The event will be held in the Lounge of the Twin Star AMF Bowling Alley at 2245 State Route 59 in Kent, Ohio. The cost is $20 for children and $10 for Adults ( children's price applies for adults who wish to make their own stuffed bunny). Ticket prices will include a brunch of doughnuts, muffins, fruit, coffee, milk, and juice. Each child will get to hand stuff their own stuffed bunny for easter and decorate a shirt for their new cuddely friend to wear home. Parents will want to bring their camera to get a picture of their child with the Easter Bunny. There will be door prizes for parents and take home bags for all! This event is being put on by Noah's Ark Workshop and proceed will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Well in May the Pampered Chef has Help Whip Cancer month! You can host
a show to earn free products for yourself and spread Cancer awareness or
host a fundraiser show with the money going towards the American Cancer
Society. We have special products only available to May hosts and guests
that are exclusive and PINK!!!!
This is my favorite month! Nothing like hosting a show, having fun, and
supporting each other!

I'm joining a new company called Market Day Gourmet. They donate 5% of your sales to a charity of your customer/hostesses choice. They also allow your hostess to donate 10% of her sales to a charity instead of receiving hostess benefits.

Well it's not a company thing, but right now I am donating $5 from each jar candle I sell to the Breast Cancer 3-Days, I'm walking it this year. smileys/smiley1.gif
