Hi everyone -

I found about BC completely by accident on another board I frequent, and am interested. I really want to find a niche where I can earn $$ on my own. I have never tried home sales before. The idea of a spa night appeals to me, but I am not sure where to start...I have a few questions - if you don't mind me asking...If you don't want to answer, I completely understand :) I am trying to find out if this business can be what I would need it to be....and if it is right for me....

1 - What is the first step?

2 - How much time do you put into your business and what are your average monthly profits?

3 - How long did it take you to build your business to this level?

4 - What are the home 'spas' like? Do you do only group spas or private ones too?

Thank you so much for your help!

Lauren

Hi! I understand about not doing home sales before, this is a first for me! I've been at it since November. I work full-time and decided to try this for ane year and see how I do. So far, I love it! It's pretty new around where I live, so it started out slowly, but I think that was all the timing (right b4 Christmas) It is picking up well now.

1 - What is the first step? You would need to find a consultant (here or one near you doesn't matter.) Then purchanse the Ultimate Spa Set. Use the products!! Skincare especially! You WILL notice a huge difference!

2 - How much time do you put into your business and what are your average monthly profits? I am working my way towards 2 spas a week. Once you have that first spa, it just goes on from there. You make it what you want. 1 spa a week, 2 a week and so on...so far I'm averaging $500-1,000 a month. Spas should last about 45-60 min. (show them skincare, relaxation, products and opp.) then you close, book, sell, recruit. You should be there a total of about 2 hours. (it took me a while to get to that point. When I started out, I was taking and showing everything and staying there 3+ hours!smileys/smiley9.gif

3 - How long did it take you to build your business to this level? Started Nov. 5, 2005, I am planning on getting 2-3 spas a week.

4 - What are the home 'spas' like? Do you do only group spas or private ones too? They are all different! I happen to like the smaller groups better, seems like the larger the group, the harder it is to do relaxation and get them to settle down. Plus if they have kids present it makes it hard to do also. I started with a private consultation and that turned into her wanting a home spa. It just takes off from there. I plan on filling in the times when I have a cancellation or slow weeks with private consultations. I have a list from a Bridal Fair that I plan on tackling tomorrow!

That's the nice thing with this business, you can make it whatever you want! I never thought I could do something like this, but I am really enjoying myself and having a blast! You can try it and if it doesn't work for you, you can always enjoy getting a discount!

I think it is going way better than I thought it wouldsmileys/smiley1.gif To make it work you have to be consistant. All you can do is try! I am signing my DIQ May 1st! If all goes well, I will be firing my boss by the end of the year!smileys/smiley32.gif

Hope I helped you in some small way...

I was in the middle of my answer when I sawa couple of peopleanswering yourquestions! So I will continue my answer for everyone to see.

The first step I would take is host a spa party at your house for friends, family and neighbors. This will be a great way to see how a spa party is done and try all the products!

I have been in business 3 years and have a very strong reorder business and repeat hostesses. My average is around $200 aparty after expenses in profit.

The spa experience is very relaxing! We have a spa flip card that we use so you don't have to have everything memorized. They are easy to book and a lot of fun to do! BeautiControl has wonderful tools to help you make money from the very beginning. You can do home parties and one on one consultations. I book both.

Go to one of our webpages and look around! Ask lots of questions as well!

Good luck in your decision! We are here to help!
