Hi all,
For those of you who do home parties, does the company have invitation templates or do you make up your own.. does anyone have a sample?
I was thinking instead of trying to do an expo at school or just putting up a flyer.. to just approach the majority of the women in my classes and asking them to come to a candle party. The party plan model has worked for over 50 years (thanks to Tupperware!) and has been proven to be successful. I was thinking I would get as many people as I can to a candle party and collect orders, and then submit the order and re-enroll in COTM.
I don't know if I want to focus on recruiting since I really don't have the time and energy to manage a team... having to send emails, make phone calls, etc.
So anyone who has any ideas on invitations and how to get people to come to the party, let me know.
Thanks

They do sell invitations in the back office. I've had two parties last week and one coming up this Thursday. I had my hostesses invite their friends. I also gave them some brochures to share with those invited guests they happened to see before hand. I think your approach of inviting guests by asking them will work. If you have brochures give them one when they are invited if not don't worry about it. People will come and will buy. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Yes, the invitation post cards look really nice. I use these.
If you make your own, make sure it is an actual "invitation". Because if it is just a flyer and a brochure it will seem like attendance it is optional.
Also, offer an incentive (say "free gift") for attendenceand/or bringing a friend. "Free Gift " can be anythingfrom free shipping, candy bar, or votive.Keep ita secret until the party.
