Ameritraining, Inc. is searching for "Work-at-Home" Consumer Solutions Representatives to serve as sales representatives in a call center for CenturyLink (formerly Embarq). They will be an integral part of the team as they will be the front line voice to the customers. In this role the candidate will be responsible for fielding inbound calls from potential and existing customers and selling Telecommunications products and services. They will sell products such as Local Residential and Long Distance Services, High Speed Internet (DSL), Video (IPTV and DISH Network), and Bundled Packages. Customer service and support responsibilities include performing credit reviews, establishing accounts in the billing system, and providing solutions to a variety of inquiries.
This is a CONTRACT TO HIRE position and initially pays $10.50 per hour PLUS COMMISSIONS. Our client will consider hiring you full-time after 3+ months. In addition to base pay, Consumer Solutions Representatives are assigned monthly sales quotas and must maintain customer service quality expectations for additional commission incentive programs. The 8 week training class begins 3/22/2010 and will be presented virtually over the internet.
NOTE: Candidates will need to provide their own computer equipment, have a high speed internet connection, live in the legacy Embarq area. You must either already subscribe to CenturyLink/Embarq service or be willing to sign up immediately. Headset and phone will be provided at the completion of the New Hire training and employee phone/internet concession will apply.

- Excellent punctuality and work attendance history
- Proficient PC Windows-based computer skills
- Proficient in multi-tasking within several PC computer applications and databases
- Able to handle a high volume of phone calls in a structured environment
- Must be flexible to work various shifts, including Saturdays, evenings and holidays as necessary
- Pass drug screen and background check
Strongly Preferred Skills:
- Prior sales experience in a customer-facing environment
- Experience in an inbound or outbound call center
Additional Work-at-Home Requirements:
- Highly self-motivated, able to work successfully with limited supervision
- Must have a dedicated work place in your home or work location (free of background noise and distractions)
- Must live within the legacy Embarq phone service area
- Must subscribe to Embarq/CenturyLink voice and high speed internet services
- Must be able to provide own Windows-based PC (see below)
