Hello everyone,
I was looking for some input about buyer and seller fees for online auctions.
If you had an choice what would it be? And as a buyer or seller how much is to much to list and sell your items in an online auction? What type of fees do you think are reasonable? Aside from optional listing enhancements like bold, enlarge, highlight, list on home page, What is fair? Would you prefer to list free and only pay a fixed fee if your item sells? What would it take for you to list your items on a new auction site?
Thanks,
eHagglebids

I will be honest and say BOOOOOOO...
As much exposure my items got on ebay and what I've sold, the fees ate up a lot of my profit.
I had over 100 items in my store and mixed and matched. Did some auction and store inventory.
Not happy about it at all. If a site does exist where the fees are minimal compared to ebay or no fees at all, I'd do it.
This is why I decided to launch my own site, try to keep as much money as I can. For me, b/c of the fees, it's almost not worth it to do ebay...just my opinion.
