Proof read and document issues, errors, image and page load problems on a web site, or section of an existing website. Skills involved include extreme attention to detail, understanding of data sets, very comfortable with the internet and websites in general (no programming is required on your part). You will be given very specific training to perform these functions, as well as a document of the procedure, and will be expected to document your findings. Some skills that are required include: ability to load a web page by URL, ability to perform a screen shot, and import same into a document, excellent written skills.
Some skills that would be very helpful: basic understanding of data bases, and data sets, understanding of URL replaceable parameters (at a high level), experience with images (jpg, png, etc.), experience with file names and file extensions. You will be required to use a specific texting app, and should be comfortable using IM and email as your main means of communication
The position is a flexible, contract position - you decide what hours / days you are available to work, however, on the days you work, you must virtually report for work remotely East Coast time - 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM although you may work additional hours as needed or wanted. The perfect candidate is someone that is ok working from home, and being on the internet during the day, and who has prior experience as a contractor.
Some weeks there may be 20 or more hours of work, some weeks there may be none. However, there will likely be work long term.
