Hi! I searched, so I hope this isn't a duplicate post. I found this position on my state unemployment site, but they have recently expanded to listing all sorts of ads, not just companies who have signed up with them- anyone have any experience with this?
I did receive a reply to my query that there will be the ubiquitous "one time training fee" so I am a little leery.
Thanks!!! Kathleen

Are they going to charge you a training, start up, supply.... fee?
I'm voting it's a scam but I'm too tired to type out why

$2500 to 12,000 per week for processing P/R, I don't think so. Remember if it's too good to be true, its probably a scam. You did right by asking here. Many savy people in this forum. Good luck in your search.

Yes, if it sounds too good to be true, and if they're charging you money, then run! Never pay to get a work-at-home job. They're supposed to pay you.

Anything that promises $12,000 a WEEK with NO experience is a scam. Period. The ad is a lie, plain and simple. My guess is that it's actually for one of those illegal money mole schemes where you accept "payments" for an "overseas business" but what you're actually doing is laundering money for criminals.
Seriously though, anyone who thinks an job ad offering $12,000 a week with no experience required is legit needs their head examined (Not referring to katcelata-she obviously has good sense because she came here to check it out first).

I guess I really knew this was a scam, but their initial contact sounded much more believable than some, and I'm soooo tired of sifting through all the garbage.. However, their follow up email asked for a "small one time fee" (with all the attendant excuses as to why it was so reasonable) for $90, which is ridiculous, so I deleted it, of course. I think I'm going to try Leapforce. I've been doing great with Amazon Mechanical Turk, but it is very little money, mostly I let it accumulate to help with my book purchases.
Thanks everyone!
Thanks everyone!

Thanks Berry! I think :D- I had actually just disregarded the nonsensical money claims, I was hoping there was work that would bring in a reasonable pay- I am really surprised these ads are showing up on my state's unemployment division's job search site, but it has changed, it's not longer maintained in house and is pulling in ads from all sorts of job search sites, which I think it a real detriment to people depending on this site.

Yes its sad to say that you cant trust any job board anymore. I recently applied for a position on Careerbuilder and to my dismay was bombarded with money laundering scam "jobs" which I promptly reported to the authorities. THE JERKS! It makes me sick. They are even getting better with some of the scams so you have to be careful and do your homework.

Sadly, this looks like a common 'check cashing' job scam that is going around a lot right now. They send you checks, you cash them, keep your cut, and send out a new check. The technical term is money laundering, which is punishable by jail time.
Don't do it.
Don't do it.

Online payroll interface will provide the customer with hard copies or reports and paychecks. The most important benefit that you will get from online processes is that several web based employee pay companies can arrange with employees for direct deposit account set-ups.

$12000 a WEEK!! Wow I could work for a month and be off the rest of the year because I would have made enough. LOL If there was a job like this EVERYONE would be doing it.
