The Welcome email that I've been waiting for FINALLY arrived on 3/12...Paid for my background check the same day, and to my delight, it only took one day for it to come back! :) I started my training for H*N the same day (3/13). I've passed the first three modules (yay!!), although I must say it's a good thing I took notes. I'm excited!! So here's my question: If there are any agents working H*N, how are the hours right now? I'm hoping to work anywhere from 9pm - 2am. Thanks! :D

Congrats on getting hired MarMar38! I didn't feel like starting my own thread so I hope you don't mind if I ask a question here. I don't yet have the funds for the background check until about a week. I'm wondering since some people say it can often take them a while to respond to you upon completing the application process, would anyone think it's fine to make the application now or wait until I have the money for the background check? I mean you make the application first and then they respond and you do the background check right? Thanks in advance for any help!

If I were you I would totally go ahead and apply now. For me it took forever to respond. When they do get back to you it could take a week for you to get up to that point. Go for it!

Wow, it really amazes me when I see new hires. There are SO many employees that have been with W*st for months or even YEARS that do not have a skill right now. No offense, but why the heck are they hiring newbies when they could be giving that line to a person who's been waiting months with no skill on W*st? Seems like complete BS to me.

Amazing! I was only asking what someone thought if I were to apply but I did not yet have the funds for the background check for about a week. Perhaps MarMar38 is in an area that happens to be hiring and got lucky? Doesn't seem like bs at all. Even a noob such as myself knows there are many factors that determine a person getting hired.

I am not talking about BEING HIRED. I am talking about CURRENT EMPLOYEES that have been without skills/lines (which means without work, even though they are CURRENT EMPLOYEES) for weeks, months or even YEARS. Yes, it is complete BS to hire someone brand new when they have CURRENT EMPLOYEES without lines.

I was aware of what you were talking about.

And you don't agree that current employees being passed up for new hires isn't BS? OK then. Whatever. I have a line, I guess that's all that matters. W*st should really worry about their current employees first before hiring newbies. I really can't believe you don't agree with that.

Well personally I think that W*st knows what they are doing. No its not fair to the current employees that doesnt have a line but that shouldnt hinder them from hiring someone new. I use to work for W*st and I had a line but I didnt have many hours to choose from and I really didnt care about them hiring someone else. Because everyone needs a job. You sometimes have to put your own feelings aside and realize that this is a company and a company is going to do what best for them first and then us. I wish everyone the best of luck.
