Hi everyone! I have a question about the background check for West. I just paid for and submitted the background check. Does anyone know if they check credit or just criminal background? Thanks for any help you can give me!

I was just hired 2 weeks ago and there was only the background check and the drug test.

You had to pay for your background check?? Mine was free since we are hired on as an employee. Did the policy change?

Yes I guess it is a new policy that started in January (I think).

I got hired back in December but didn't have to do a drug test.

The drug test is skill specific. It's not a West requirement but some skills require it before you can work on that companies project.
