Hi! I've been a lurker here for a long time and decided to join today. I read in another thread about Leapforce and have scanned their website but am still unsure as to what the job is, what the pay is, etc.
I'm a stay at home mom of two (9 and 11) and really need a decent part time, work from home job to supplement my hubbys income.
I tried WEST a while back but it just wasn't for me.
Thanks for any advice!!

Read through the "Google Raters" folder in this forum and you will get an idea.

I wouldn't waste my time with Leapforce, or if you do, make sure you have a back up plan. They specialize in letting you go after 3-5 months. If you stats are not "stellar", or if you make more than $1K per month, they will let you know without notice. Don't put too much stock in them. They specialize in hiring people, firing them and then hiring new people. Just my experience.

I have been with them for almost 9 months and have been paid every month.
They pay a very fair rate and only ask that you provide quality work in return.
Those that were let go may not have met the quality standards.
I have had bad months and good months, so I am no way close to "Stellar" and yet had my contract extended.
LF is definitely not a "waste of time." You only need to apply the effort to earn your money.
Note: I have many months where my pay exceeded $1000.

I agree w/LA Grouch. It's been a good experience for me. It is one of the better flexible non phone jobs out there. As with any WAH contract position, it's always wise to have a backup plan. My recommendation, check it out, apply, and see what you think for yourself. Best of luck.

Read the thread over on WorkplaceLikeHome. It's full of complaints from people who were abruptly fired-some just days after being told their contract was being extended, There are also a lot of complaints about them sending negative reviews without explaining what the actual problems were and ignoring emails. It really makes Leapforce sound like an absolutely HORRIBLE company and I will admit it scared me away from applying.

There has been some chronic loose lips that were very close to being in violation of the NDA in that forum from time to time. That is one reason I rarely post in either forum any more.
I have had a very positive relationship with LF.

I put down I could work 31-40 hours. But I realized I need to finish up some things at my current job before I quit.
Anyone know how strict they are about working what you originally signed up for? I know it's flexible, but I didn't know if doing it part time for a month would get me fired..?

Don't worry about it.

I agree, I also think it depends on where you are located. The other companies are much better imo.

Interesting, I was looking around since this thread piqued my curiosity and found this: Leapforce Inc. (http://aboutleapforceinc.blogspot.com/)
Anybody has any info on this? I keep hearing negative things about this company.

Well I went to the link out of curiosity, and it doesn't say anything. So all I will say is: THEY ARE NOT A SCAM, I work there. Do I get paid as per my contract, yes. Do I have metrics to meet yes, tell me a company that does not. Are there better companies, I don't know, you will read as much negative about LB as Leapforce, and WFL doesn't hire English raters anymore. I worked for WFL, so once again I know. WFL paid better a little better and you were an employee, but otherwise the job is the same. I loved the work, so I went to LF. Personally, the blog sounds like a disgruntled contrator. The job is not for everybody, so for those w/reservations, move on. Find a better non-phone job, and post so we can all check it out. Best wishes 2 u
