Hi everyone -
I was wondering how often you used the skin analysis cards? I have only used them a couple of times. When someone seemed interested in the skin care, but wasn't sure which type she was, I would use the card. Then it seemed like everyone there wanted to know their skin age but didn't seem interested in the skin care. How do you handle these situations? When do you use them?
Thanks Bunches!

I have only used the cards a couple of times myself. When I do my spas, I go into the personal side of what the products have done for me and how satisfied I am with them. They ask me what I use and so I tell them the regimin I use for my skin. It involves so much more than just the SkinCare sets though -I am a firm believer in the Microderm abrasion Set and I stress how much it helped my skin- I am an outdoors person and also use the tanning bed in the Summer. I tell them thatI use the Platinum Line and what I use with it- Platinum Regeneration, Cell Block (both), Microderm Abrasion....
I tell them what age each set is for BUT I also tell them that with regular usage of what line you start with that you can improve your skin and go to a set for a lesser age.
I agree with you on one point- once I have them do the cards, they don't always want to follow through with a skincare line. I sell more hand/foot products than anything. But I do sell good with the Microderm too and I think it is because you see instant results with it.
God bless!

Have you tried setting up a one on one consultation with people interested in the skin care line? That is where I do the skin care analysis and have them actually try it on their face. At my spa parties, I demo it on their hand so they can experience it. Sometimes women will bring up issues that they wouldn't otherwise say in front of their friends.
I book them right from the spa parties and it has worked well for me! I give the hostess credit for that consultation too.
Watching my neighbor's little girl today and it has been wild! I will post more later!

It's funny but I have had a lot of success w/these cards! Everyone's always curious to see how "old" their skin is. I've sold a gold set and a platinum set that way. I always take them w/me and mention them, or sometimes just set them out w/my display.</span>

A lot of the consultants have actually stopped using these. In fact, I don't if it was at Leadership last year or Celebration, but Gary Jones even said that they weren't necessary. He said to explain each Skinlogics line by telling them that the basic Skinlogics is for younger skin, usually those in their 20s, and who are still fairly oily and somewhat prone to breakouts. The Gold is for those who are beginning to show signs of aging and who are not breaking out much anymore. The Platinum is for those who are showing more moderate signs of aging, such as deep lines and wrinkles, and loss of firmness and elasticity. Gary also said that the cleansers are interchangeable. Ask your clients if they prefer a gel, a foam, or a creme cleanser.
Anyway, I was more than happy to do away with the skin age analysis cards. I really didn't like them at all. And by discussing the skin care needs of my clients we haven't had any trouble at all determining what they should use.

I want to thank you all so much! I guess it just depends on your clients. I didn't want to spend money that I really didn't have too right now.
Thanks Bunches!

I bought a whole bunch of those cards when I joined in June because I saw them on the training video. Then when I went to BeautiU, the trainer told us she only use it on those interested on the skin care.
I still have a lot of them and only use it when I do one-on-ones. I think they are a great tool to show clients the regimen they need to follow based on their skin age. I let them keep it to review later. If they are interested on investing and improving their skin, they will buy everything.
Blessings,

I agree, I would use them on personal consultations, it gives that client something extra when they come to you by themselves.
