I need to learn how to transfer a website. I have step by step directions but get lost after I try to zip the files to transfer them.

If you are willing to meet me on Skype and walk me through the transfer of an actual website so I make sure I am doing it correctly I will pay you $20.

Must be within the next day or so.....

Thanks Chef Bek..this is a wordpress site. The new hosting company did it but I will keep you in mind for other sites.

Wordpress blog is hard to transfer because of mysql and php database. You need to import them and restore its setting juts like in your old hosting company. Static site like manual html are easy to transfer than wordpress. :D
