This is a good video on youtube on how to apply makeup. The info is a little dated, she uses the shadow duos instead of mineral makeup. But the application info is great. And I have to say that I totally agree with her on the quality of our sponges. They are much higher quality than what you will find in the stores. Clients always notice that too.

They really should have continued to make those videos since image has always been a part of BC. When I started back in 2003, we got an image video with our starter kit. Jinger Heath (former owner)was teaching how to use the makeup....it was really good!

This is a great video! I never introduce our cosmetics because I wasn't sure what to do! So thanks to Saralyn for posting this toYouTube and for the consultant who shared this with us on here! I did exactly what she did and it is awesome...I even found some of the little Beauti tip "how to" flyers BUT if you can't get a hold of any on page 13 in our "New Consultant Workbook" we get a Beauti U it shows the 5-minute Face how to's! My clients said, wow...you sell make up too!??? I only do this on the hostess and it is a good lead tool for future bookings.

Thanks for posting a link to the video. I have avoided sharing make-up products because I have been very concerned about possible contamination. Early on in my BC business, I allowed a client to take home the microderm eye x-cel cream and "test" it out as a cure for her dry scaly eyes. Unfortunately, she contaminated my eye cream and I ended up with a chronic eye condition similar to excema on my eye lids. It is horrible. I am always so freaked out that I might pass it on to a client during make up application or that someone else might pass something new. I think the alcohol will help to prevent the potential contamination. I also will only exclusively have products for demo and not for personal use! Don't forget to look for Saralynn's Part 2 video on You Tube.
