I just got the e-mail to fill out the new hire paperwork yesterday and I did it immediately.:D I just have a few questions... Does this mean that I am hired? How long until I hear from them? What is the next step in the process? Thanks so much for any help you can give me!

Congrats that does mean they hired you! Make sure to get all the paperwork in and then you will begin training on the skill they offer you. Most of the time it is DR to begin with, but some people have gotten others.

Thanks for your help! I am so excited! I have been unemployed for a year and a half and have been looking for work inside and outside of my home religiously, but haven't found anything until this. The other day I got the e-mail from them to fill out all of the paper work. I filled it all out and e-mailed the physical portion today. Then a day after that, I got an offer with another WAH job as well. This is perfect timing and such a blessing for me and my family!!!!!

Hey "nmarlow" best of luck to you !!! I think your next step after they hire you is your training. Depending on the particular line they'll put you on. You should get an email with a link to the west at home employe site where you'll be ask to set up your password (because you should already have your user name) if not call a PAL and they'll help you get set-up. Once your set up and logged in, there will most likely be a "training" tab that you will click on and start your self paced training. It'll instruct you has to how much time, hours, and days you will have to complete the training session. I hope this helps you out. Best advice I can offer is to TAKE NOTES.
You'll do great !!!

Thanks for your help! Do you know how long it will take for me to get the e-mail from them? I got all of my paperwork in yesterday and I am just waiting for the e-mail.

UPDATE: I got an e-mail today that says congratulations and that I should receive communication within 7 days with information on how to access the employee website! :D I am really excited, but I have a question... I checked my application status earlier today and it said waiting for HR to process paperwork. I checked it again after I received this e-mail from them and it says there is no information on my status. Could this just be because they need time to update the status or should I contact them? Thanks for any help!

I was just wondering, not trying to be noisy or anything...but if you don't mind I was wanting to know about how long ago, or when did you do your application...I guess I am asking how long did it take you to get hired....I filled out an app. So I was wondering...If you don't mind answering...:)
