We are seeking a freelance HTML Email Coder who can assist our designers in building smart email campaigns that render across all email clients and who is ready for the 'next level of thinking' unique to this marketing channel. Position may become fulltime salaried employment in Tysons Corner, VA. This is an outstanding opportunity for a coder with 2-5 years' experience looking to contribute to a growing company.
(Please note - this HTML Email Coder position requires deliverability skills first and design second)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 yrs of HTML coding experience.
- Expert understanding of the limitations unique to various email browsers, along with ability to test/troubleshoot/fix any deliverability issues.
- Knowledge of email construction, including HTML, CSS, and variable data scripting.
- Experience with web design and image editing software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, plus an eye for good design.
- Proficiency in optimizing other designers' files for online use.
- Experience with integrating email with landing pages, tracking programs and other data.
- Excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with co-workers from several departments.
- Organized/efficient work habits, with close attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
If it becomes fulltime employment, this position will play a pivotal role in the expansion and optimization of our growing online marketing program. Work alongside talented, energetic, and forward-thinking individuals as we push our online marketing program to the next level.
