I got a job from Covergys working for Home Depot. Anyone on here work with Home Depot? I am just wondering about call volume and such. If you worked for them please let me know about your experience. Thanks :confused:

I don't, but wanted to say CONGRATS! Last I knew with Convergys you are an employee, so you are guaranteed an hourly minimum. That should ease your mind a little. Best of luck!

Hi and congrats. I started working in Home Depot about 5 years ago with an outside co and then got hired with home depot. I actually liked it. What will you be doing? There are so many different vendor companies that they hire from outside. Wear good shoes cause the floor is HARD. Any specific questions, please feel free.

wicked- I think the Home Depot job that was being referred to is a work at home customer service position that was setup through Convergys.
Am happy to hear that this job finally job started. I was told it was a trial for work at home venue for Home Depot and ONLY a select and VERY qualified group of 20 or so were the creme of the crop for this start up project.
I congratulate the people who got on this prestigous gig! GOOD LUCK and do a fantastic job so that Home Depot will see the value of work at home employes and expand this program further.

Thanks for the replies. Yes it is working from home. This is my first WFH job..I am a little nervous. I worked as a customer service manager at Walmart before this. I will keep you all updated after I start training on Thursday. :D

Oh well I had no idea. Thanks for letting me know. I worked for HD before I had my daughter for about 3 years. I would love to have something like this. Way to go. How did you find out about this position? Was it listed here or somewhere else. And yes please keep us posted!

Hey there onewikedfaery you might look in the telecommuting moms folder or just type the name in the search bar above and it should bring up related links for Convergys sounds like its a hard one to get into though, so many people are looking to work at home most of the jobs get scooped up fast.
That's why I have my own home business I'm happy with that :) good luck in your search! Oops I didn't realize this was in the telecommuting moms folder I had clicked on the new posts and found this thread there.
