My cousin had a home party on Sunday.....she had 17 guest and they purchased $879.00 worth of candles. Once I told them they could purchase anything I had with me and they did not have to wait, it was like a stampede to the table. Those who could not get it then placed orders to be delivered to them in a week.
People LOVE to be able to have it in thier hands and use it then. Many of these customers are also FB friends, so it was fun to see the post about their reactions just hours after the party.
Just wanted to let you know what the power of a successful party can do.
It was a blessed day all around.

Jennie - That's so awesome!!! Thanks for sharing. I was wondering how the home parties were going, since I'm planning on going that route once I find someone to have one for me :) It's good to know to have product on hand.

I always have 4-6 candles in my car, but how much did you bring for the party? Also, did you take the Designing an Amazing Party Experience with Julie Anne Jones? If so, did you use that at the party? Sorry, for so many questions. Can you tell I'm a little excited about this?:D

I had three dozen jars, melts, pies, soap, hand soap, Bella Balm.
I did not follow the Party Experience.....Im not putting it down but I have my own routine that I use and have been following for years. I use a simple ABC's of Candle Knowledge game and just do my thing. People say I should be a stand up comic....we have a blast.
Ask away I do not mind....im here to inspire and educate!!

Thanks, Jennie. I appreciate the info.

I have a great party presentation for my lia sophia business, but it really wouldn't work well with the candles, so I think I'm crazy and willing to give the Amazing Party Experience a try. I'll post to let you all know how it goes once I can get a party on the books. I don't want to ask my friends again so soon after starting my jewelry biz, so I need to figure out a creative way to get a booking.

Anne,

When you mentioned your party presentation with LS and how that wouldn't work with candles, I immediately pictured myself holding up a candle to someone's blouse and talking about what went with what outfit...I'm easily amused:D

Greetings!

I wanted to share that I took the course, and it is nearly verbatim to the 5 Elements for Success Training we offer!

Our 5 Elements Training is based and formatted upon the Julie Ann Jones training, and our 5 Elements printable paperwork has been 'candle crafted' (the Julie Ann Jones paperwork has been modified and candle-a-fied to fit our business model!)

I do think think the JAJ training is amazing as you have a series of calls with one of Julie's in house coaches, but I HIGHLY recommend our in house free training as well. There are several videos as well as ton of items to print!

Thanks for the reminder, Alethea. I started listening when I first started and got side tracked. I'm going to listen to the call on Saturday for Part 1 of Element 5. LOL on the "candle-a-fied" comment!

Does anyone know if they saved the recordings of the other Saturday calls? I only listened to Element 1 and would love to hear the others. (I know I can go back and listen to the original 5 Elements recordings on the website, but would be interested in hearing the newer Saturday calls as well.) Thanks!
